STOP FIGHTING. It looks a bit like a Super GT, but if you look closely you can see some major differences... namely in the C-pillar, headlights, and rear end of the car. Is it possible to mod a car to make those changes... technically yes, but the cost of doing that kind of work (particularly the C-pillar) would probably add up to being about the same cost as a whole new car... at the end of the day this is most likely a completely new car that looks a little bit like the Super GT. NO MORE CHILDISH FIGHTING.

 

And yeah... it did cross my mind that this car might be called the Stinger

I've seen people change their entire front end fairly easily. Headlights are nothing. I know people that have put an Escalade front end on their GMC and Chevy pick up truck. I've also seen people line their bumpers up with their trunks, basically shaving it. So getting new head lights, a new grill, all that stuff is pretty minor. The only thing that would really be a challenge is changing their rear end, but not completely impossible, because there are a LOT of people out there that go out of their way to give their car a completely custom, and different look from anyone elses.

Hmm... yeah the original Turismo looked like an F40... the closest thing to a modern successor to the F40 would be Enzo... though I've personally always felt that the Enzo is the worst looking Ferrari ever made. I mean yeah performance wise it's incredible... but in my mind Ferrari's are supposed to be both incredibly powerful performance machines and beautiful works of art. For me... the F430 is much closer to that idea, so I was happy with the Turismo being based on it.

Well the Cheetah is most closely based on the Testarossa which was a mid engined 12-cylinder car. While the original Turismo in SA was based on the F40 which was a true supercar, like the top of the line model when it was out. By that logic... Ferrari no longer makes the Testarossa nor a successor, so it would be hard to say what would fill in the name of Cheetah. The true successors to the F40 would be the F50 in the late 90s and then the Enzo more recently. The Turismo of IV was however based primarily on the 360 and F430, which are mid-engined V8 cars. In the end it may have been better if they had called the Turismo in IV a Cheetah and brought back the Turismo in BOGT as an Enzo based car. It's not a huge deal to me though because, as I said, I was never a big fan of the Enzo.

I don't think that will be the next Cheetah because it doesn't have the Grotti's badge (like the Turismo )in it & i can't picture it in my mind as the new cheetah, plus the yellow Super GT lookalike could an upgraded version of the Super GT just like the Aston Martin DB9 & DBS , frankly i don't care because i used to drive the Patriot & the Leone's Sentinel in GTA III , the Banshee in GTA VC & the Savanna , FBI Rancher & the Hunley in GTA SA , so its really doesn't matter to me !!!

I mean it would be cool to have in the game, and it has grown on me a bit since it first came out.... but I still don't like the decision they made to take so much inspiration from an F1 car on the front end. It just looks kinda goofy to me... where as the 360 and F430 just look like the concept of sex put into the form of a vehicle, they just say "sexy," for me anyways lol.

 

And the Windsor was a very cool car! While I think the yellow car (main subject of this thread) looks more like a Maserati... it does have a bit of an Jaguar XK look to it as well...

 

Considering that the Windsor was based on another Jaguar (E-type)...
