Wipzy
(I guess this needs to be in this forum) I have wanted to use a game save for my GTA game. I just picked up a MP3 player which also works like a USB memory device and downloaded the save file to it. When I plugged it in my PS2 and started the AR MAX disc, and opened up the MAX Saves section, and opening the USB Memory device section, I didn`t see any saved files. I downloaded the PAL version save and a Australian version save (my GTA:SA is an PAL Australian version) with a save with some Zombie modification. Here`s the link to the place from where I downloaded the saves: Gamefaqs. The saves were downloaded from the PlayStation2 Max Drive Save (Europe) section. I do have got the Platinum version of the game, but that probably has got to do nothing with this. I downloaded that PS2 file save editor from one section of the forums and turned one of the .max files into a Powersave .pws (not sure about the Powersive format). I possibly am going to do this again. What the heck should I do? This stuff is really annoying me!
Girish
I think only Platinum edition saves will work with your game. There are two Platinum edition saves over there. Save 1: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/save/gt...ndreas_eu_c.max Save 2: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/save/gt...ndreas_eu_e.max I suggest you try the above 2 saves and see if they work. OrionSR
The version of AR Max that I used doesn't support most of the newer USB devices. Perhaps that is the problem. I suggest creating a game save and trying to back it up using your AR Max disc and USB device. If that works then reverse the process and try to put it back. If that works then you should have the hardware and skills required to test out some downloaded save files. Place your save archives in the root directory.
