Lost CD Key

Hey,

I lost my cd key so I can't activate my GTA4. Is there any chance that I get a new cd key from Rockstar? I have proof of purchase. Or can I somehow get back my old registry, I heard it is possible (http://i36.tinypic.com/16lir61.png - found this). Could anybody tell me how to do it? Is it possible? I formatted my hard disk a few times I think.

Unfortunately, that is only possible for Steam users. And if you've formatted your HDD, then I think it's gone forever.

If you have a retail copy, then your best bet is to contact Rockstar. I hope you have the receipt of purchase; they might ask for it.
