Yeah I actually am a little bit more excited. I don't know why, maybe it's because of the exciting features and new characters. Everything seems so great.

I wasn't too hyped for TLAD even though I never played it.

 

However I am really excited for BOGT, by the new cars alone (Civilian Buffalo, Super Drop Diamond, Bullet) and the character.

Yeah I'm excited, due to all the new features, the interesting story and the overall over-the-top style of the expansion. But then again, I'm a PS3 user.. cryani.gif

I am a lot more excited for TBOGT, I mean I was really excited for TLAD too, but mostly for the storyline and the sawed-off shotgun but with this game I am so much more excited, there's so much more stuff in it

I was jizzing myself when TLAD was being hyped, that doesent evencompare to this. Bring on BoGT! I genuinely cant wait! Atleast I have Halo 3 ODST to keep me distracted till October 29th tounge2.gif

I'm super excited for it, but I won't really have to much time to play it because I'm enrolled in college right now and I'm constantly studying. sad.gif I probably won't get to actually play it seriously until I get out for Christmas. tounge.gif

Hell yeah! I mean, TLAD was a big deal for me. Yeah it was nice, but just nice.

Now BoGT! Awesome new weapons, awesome new aircraft, awesome setup, ARAB MONEY!

I think Ballad Of Gay Tony might even be something as good as GTA IV! "I'm so excited!"

yeah. I wasn't really all that hyped for TLAD to tell you the truth. GTA IV was a major disappointment to me and I wasn't really that enthused about the next chapter. This on the other hand looks to be a return to the old GTA III era style gameplay and story. Parachutes! Sticky bombs! Fight Club! MOAR SPORTS CARS!!11!!

I'm not into the club scene or the wacky San Andreas style, so no, I was more hyped for The Lost and Damned, which i think in the end will remain my fave story of the GTA IV arc.

TLAD was big time for me & i still love it. Especially the storyline. I just hate what happened to the clubhouse. That is by far the best safehouse and overall best interior ever

 

But im more excited for TBoGT and one of the reasons being that it's the first time a hispanic character is the protaganist. I'm not dominican by any means, but i am hispanic. Also the bullet and all the new features has me gitty.

I was less hyped for the TLAD than any other GTA game.

I got all the GTAs before the PSP versions after release so I wasn't really excited about those.

I was uber-hyped for VCS and IV. Also CTW and LCS exited me.

TLAD just didn't tickle my fancy. Not actually a full game, just DLC with some extra stuff.

 

However, BoGT just seems like a big upgrade to IV IMO.

Hell, it makes EFLC 2nd on my list of most wanted games (FO3 GOTY Edition been 1st).

Hell ya, i'm excited about TBOGT, given that i have not bought one 360/PS3 game since vanilla GTA:IV was released. Before that i had bought some 50, 360 and PS3 games and rented(and completed) another 100 or so more.

 

For me, GTA:IV has become my gaming obsession, as i have both the CE of both versions(360/PS3) and of course TLAD. I love IV to death but i still miss some aspects of both VC and SA.

 

Now TLAD was awesome for it had the parrallel stoyline, it was more hard core and had more action then Niko's story, it's added music(as in alot more rock/metal songs ) was MUCH needed to the so-so soundtrack of vanilla IV, and it added in a few nice elements such as being part of a gang.

 

But TBOGT, seems to be adding in a mix of VC and SA like features, and while i do love the realism slanted aspects of Niko's story, i also wanted more things to do besides the storyline.

 

I'm sorry but darts just does not cut it with me(for example) and having one arcade machine is far too little.(and it's a puzzle arcade? co'me on)

 

Also vanilla IV and TLAD lacked the off the charts color textures of VC, which i missed alot even in SA, and finally that will be included in TBOGT.

 

The Hang On like arcade machine has me thinking "about f'in time", and while i'm not a paracuting fanatic, it should be real sweet to skydive/parachute from high above LC.

 

And i also love the partial gay aspect as well, for real, and i'm married(st8 and maybe bi..whatever)..but heck i like that change in direction, and it should be crazy to enter both a st8 and gay night club..lol

 

One more thing, TBOGT has an edge to it, which seems like Rockstar realized it needed to finally go over the top with heavy action(and with what seems are more variety in the storyline missions as well), while still holding true to it's realistic slant of IV compared to SA.

 

Finally, TBOGT will tie this storyline together as one.

 

btw: I'm hoping we see a playable FP view (on foot) in TBOGT, but i highly doubt it.

 

TBOGT seems like Rockstar has finally adding in the needed icing on the cake to vanilla IV(and TLAD) and if so, it's now the complete package.

Way more exited for TBoGT than TLaD. This story seems more appealing to me. And of course a lot of new cool stuff, more than what was included in TLaD.

I am just hoping that they possibly release a patch or something with all the new TBoGT weapons.

Think about it. You have a new weapons in every slot except for rocket launcher.

So they could possibly release a patch or at least a cheat where you can spawn the weapons like Tier 1 and Tier 2.

I really want Johnny to be able to use that M249 SAW! Same goes for Niko. TLaD didnt have a weapons cheat because there were only a few new weapons. Now however they have a new weapon for every slot and I'm hoping that R* will release a patch for a Tier 3 weapons cheat for your phone. I was never able to utilize the new guns in TLaD because you had to spend alot of money if you wanted to run around with those guns and it was much faster and cheaper to just use the weapons cheat.

 

Here's hopin' that they release a patch.
