Passing By
Well it was always pretty obvious that the music from TLAD would be in TBOGT if you have downloaded both. But I think this is proof that on disc (EFLC) you will be able to listen to music from both games, which I saw some posters were worried about. Mafioso86
but will EFLC have all the songs from the original GTAIV? I'm assuming yes... but I guess you never know

AZAZEL
Yep, it's also been confirmed that you will be able to use all weapons from TLAD. That's news to me, and for that I blame my inactivity. Not to lead this topic off course with weapon related banter, but was it specified how we obtain the TLAD weapons? I just couldn't see Luis phoning Terry for supplies.

Lollercoaster
Sweet. So BOGT will feature all music from GTA IV + TLAD + New music. And it will feature all weapons from GTA IV + TLAD + The new ones. Sweet

I would love for it to be true, but the thought of there being 5 shotguns, 4 SMGs, etc. available in multiplayer just seems unlikely. What incentive would there be for people (who've download TBoGT, but not TLaD) to purchase TLaD, other than the story?

I would love for it to be true, but the thought of there being 5 shotguns, 4 SMGs, etc. available in multiplayer just seems unlikely. Again, it was from an IGN Australlia article, but so far, they're the only ones who has mentioned it, so it still remains under speculation. http://xboxlive.ign.com/articles/102/1025230p1.html On top of Gay Tony's lethal arsenal of new weapons, the game also features every weapon from both GTA IV and The Lost and the Damned. Want to mix it up with Niko's rocket launcher or Johnny's automatic shotgun? This game let's you go nuts with firepower. What incentive would there be for people (who've download TBoGT, but not TLaD) to purchase TLaD, other than the story? At this point, no one knows. SilentBugler
I probably would not expect the licensed music from IV to appear in EFLC. It would cost a fortune to re-license all that music, and it wouldn't make much sense to do that considering that EFLC isn't IV.
tarnell
That YUSUF guy was in GTA 4 as well, first Playboy X mission, when dwayne comes out of prison, and you have to kill some mafia on a construction site, that mission when you going in the car, playboy talks about yusuf. Just found out now, so i thought ill throw it up there.

Darth Andrew
I'd expect a very small minority will have TBOGT DLC without TLAD, probably less than the number they gain by making TBOGT as good as possible. True, but a minority would still be a fair amount of potential customers. As for how to get the weapons: kill bikers? I meant in multiplayer (i.e. how they're laying around and their icons show up on your HUD's map). 5 different shotguns, 4 different SMGs, etc. would "clutter" it up. If each DLCs' weapons stayed in each's multiplayer (while still retaining GTA IV's core weapons), then it wouldn't be quite as "cluttered." Do you get what I'm trying to say? Though I still hope that what IGN said is true. I probably would not expect the licensed music from IV to appear in EFLC. It would cost a fortune to re-license all that music, and it wouldn't make much sense to do that considering that EFLC isn't IV. Didn't GTA IV's music appear in TLaD (I don't have it; I'm waiting for EfLC)? If they didn't appear in EfLC, half the game's soundtrack would disappear, which would be disastrous. I'm sure they have a special contract for IV's music to appear in EfLC.

Not only that, I'm afraid that not all of the radio stations will be updated, therefore we might end up losing some of the radio stations as well if IV's music doesn't appear in EFLC. blahblah1212
I imagine it's going to do the same thing as The Lost and Damned, having both it's own music in Vanilla and TLAD and carry the music over from both games. The only problem I've encountered with the music from TLAD being in Vanilla is that ZiT! doesn't work on songs from TLAD (or at least the last time I checked)

What's hard to imagine is the music industry allowing the stand-alone release of EFLC to include IV's music without everybody getting another royalty check. TLAD as DLC ran on top of IV. SovietWarrior42
I'm curious since I have TLAD and plan on getting TBOGT off of Xbox Live, if I too will have access to all of the content from both games like if I bought EFLC. If not, then I might just go ahead and get EFLC. I just don't like the idea of having to switch CDs. It would save me hard drive room, I'm down to 10 gigs! Eh, I'm sure they can afford it after how well GTAIV sold. If they didn't have the vanilla songs in EFLC it's just appear sloppy... Unless, of course, every radio station is going to get a huge update with BOGT or something.
