HOW'S ANNIE?
I did, once, see a UFO. But I was eight or nine years old at the time, so it could in fact have been almost anything. But despite this, I am a firm beleiver in UFOs being of exteraterrestrial origin (or at the very least something created by the military). There are way too many reports and even videos of UFOs out there that simply cannot be explained as "just a plane" (The Pheonix Lights for example) . Or alien abduction stories from perfectly sane, credible for who have even past lie detector tests (e.g. The Travis Walton abduction).

Shyabang Shyabang
While I've never witnessed a U.F.O before, I do believe there is some form of life or even intelligent life within our galaxy. The Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across and contains an estimated 200-400 billion stars each the same size or even bigger than our own sun, and in most cases, there are planets revolving around those stars. For those of you who don't know what a "lightyear" is it means that it would take you 100,000 years to cross our galaxy from end to end going the speed of light! Not to mention there are trillions of galaxies(each as big, or bigger than our own) in a universe that is infinitely expanding.....to believe we are the only living things in the universe or even in this galaxy is just....close minded. That's what I've been thinking since I was a kid. I've been feeling that it would actually be strange if only one planet has life in the entire universe. Once I mistook a far away silver balloon as a UFO. The silvery surface made the balloon look metallic. At first I felt my heart skip a beat and my mind get blown. I've been believing for a long time that it's possible an alien spacecraft could visit our planet, but actually seeing the proof was a different story. Then I saw the balloon wobble in the wind. That's when I realized that the object was very light and smaller than I thought it would be. I figured that it was a balloon. My older cousin told me that his friend had a book about UFOs when he was a kid. One of the photos in the book was very clear. He could clearly make out the three objects flying in close formation. He said that it almost gave him the shivers. That was until he saw a stealth bomber on the news for the first time during Desert Storm. That was when he started to realize that a lot of the UFOs could actually be secret prototype aircrafts built on Earth.
LibertyKing
Maybe I'm a little off-topic, but I once saw (last Christmas) a little white dot following the moon. Even if the moon was moving, the dot stayed exactly at the same distance. As of today, I'm always looking outside to see it again, but It never appeared again. Could this be a satellite ? I didn't take a picture by the way. It wasn't even dark when I saw it. It was around 5 pm but I saw it until I couldn't see the moon.
AtomicPunk
Alien UFOs do not exist. They're probably a secret human project designed to brainwash all the uneducated people out there. Uneducated? Are all of the U.S. generals, ace fighter pilots, airliner pilots, nuclear physicists, doctors, law enforcement, astronauts, scientists, etc., etc.,---are they all "uneducated"? And what exactly does education have to do with level of IQ?

ThirstyHyena
I saw a UFO last summer when I was at the countryside, clear sky, the Sun was falling and there was still some daylight, I saw a big white, glowing ball flying very slowly like it was floating, and it faded out in a blink of an eye, the thing lasted for about 10 seconds, amazing. Found no plausible explanation as of yet, couldn't have been ball lightning as someone suggested a few months ago here on the forums since there were no clouds in the sky, the sky was completely clear. There was also an airplane flying not too far away below it, the airplane was moving about 4-5 times faster but I really have no idea how far away that thing was compared to the airplane, the airplane wasn't too far away, below average altitude I'd say. Deffpony
I saw a UFO out at sea with the military. I was standing the midnight watch and we were darkened ship (which means no lights on the boat were on). I was looking up at the sky counting the thousands of stars that were visible when I saw something small fly by my face. I swatted at it because it appeared to be some kind of fire fly, but I soon realized that I was wrong. I thought it was a fly of some sort because it moved so fast, but it was actually much further away. There arent any insects that far out in the Pacific anyways. The light was probably about 1000 feet up but it was hard to judge with there only being one form of reference. It would move quickly in the sky and then stay still for a bit. I reported it to my officer of the deck and they came out to look at it with me. I looked at it through the big eyes (a huge set of binoculars with a range of 10 miles) and thought I could make out a shape but the light was really the only thing visible. It moved around for about 10 minutes and then it stayed in one place in the sky. It didnt fly off but slowly kind of just faded away. I dunno what it was Edited January 2, 2013 by deffpony

Good chance they were planets from where I was in the uk there were 2 visible that came quite close to the moon. It was like it for a week or so. I like to keep a keen eye on the sky also seen me ury travel across the sun with my own eyes using eclipse glasses probably not the wisest move but at least I've seen it! Idk why people have started shouting for proof of aliens when the topic title is simply have you seen a ufo?
Tyler
Well I remember back in the day, when I saw UFO live, for sure!! I'd say that was probably the closest, thing to an extraterrestrial experience that I've ever seen (or should I say experienced, but I digress). Phil Mogg jumped off the stage mid-show and while most of the crowd was on copious amounts of illicit drugs we managed, to put him back on stage in one piece!! at some point after the show I managed to catch a really gnarly sample of their new album Obsession which would end up being proudly displayed in my cassette collection, for years to come, and all I could think of while I listened was how great this stuff sounded and how, I needed to buy some old pc hardware that was at the time not available on the market, as it was nonexistent, but I digress. One things for sure, Van Halen is good stuff!
AtomicPunk
^^^^^^^^^^Indeed, Van Halen kicks serious a$$. That's who my screen name is modeled after--Nobody rules these streets at night like me, The Atomic Punk! has anybody in this topic been to the Extraterrestrial highway? I'm thinking about going to Vegas for my 21st and driving out to Rachel, Tonopah, the white mailbox and the Extraterrestrial Highway, wanna know if I can catch a view of a ufo or two. If you're really looking for a place to have an experience, then I suggest the Skinwalker Ranch. Be careful and do much research before going. Area 51 these days is just a decoy. Most likely, all you will see is security and that's just not exciting to me. And that place is a tourist trap. Happy hunting either way.
