Wolfenz
Sometimes when I used to live way out in the country, I used to see flashing lights going over the skys. Of course these could've been planes and probably where, but sometimes I wondered maybe they where something otherwordly as they did on occasion look very bright and flashy. Either that or I'm losing it.

1ManArmy
Seriously though, recently I did see like an oval shaped lights in while I was leaving the house to go for dinner with my family. It didn't really look like a spot light or something because it was kinda f*cking big for a spot light and it was moving kinda fast and irregular. Normally if there are events or something they would slowly move the spotlight and even then it wouldn't be that big. Also, you sometimes you could see the tail of the light but for this one you couldn't. It was like it was behind the clouds or something. The lights were yellow too. Btw, here's an apparent footage of a UFO sighting during the day in my country. I think its fake though.
Carnage1120
It would be ridiculous to think that we´re the only living things (among all the animals, bugs etc.. on this planet) in the entire universe. Oh and on topic: i havent seen any undefined flying objects. Why would aliens meet humans anyway? If they had the ability to travel vast distances, why would they come to earth? An advanced creature stopping buy to say hi to a lesser creature? I don't see people stopping in the middle of the field only to go up to a cow to say "Hi" and "heres some technology". I think humans shouldn't be sending signals like that, you gotta remember what the conquistadors did to those primitive people.

Btw, here's an apparent footage of a UFO sighting during the day in my country. I think its fake though. Pause the video a little before it reaches 0.17 and watch the little lights then it disappears. It should look like the pic below. Could be real. I don't know? I would like to think that there is other life forms besides us.( I'm so lonely...hold me... ) A couple months ago I was playing some B-ball with my friends as i went to shoot the ball, I look up and noticed a bright oval shape light that resemble a star (maybe) but it was moving right along pretty quickly. It didn't have flashing lights and it was way too high to be a airplane., all of a sudden it just disappear right before my eyes, like the video above As to the OP question: "Have you ever seen an UFO?" Maybe Do they exist? Maybe Does Area 51 (aka The Box) exist? Yes Did a UFO land in Roswell? Yes This was a photo taken when the incident in Roswell occurred. Now considering we didn't have PSP and the year was 1947 this photo could actually be real. When I mean real, I mean it's authentic. Where did the photo come from? Who knows? Was it a hoax? Maybe. When someone asks me do I believe that there's life in other worlds? I always say maybe, because I can't say no and i can't say yes. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it don't exist. Tsar_Smirnoff
I do believe there is some form of life or even intelligent life within our galaxy. A lot of people say that, but if they are so intelligent then how come nobody has found our planet yet? For one, our galaxy is just about beyond comprehension in sheer size....do you know how long it would take an intelligent being to find our planet even if they were able to travel the speed of light? It would take thousands and thousands of years to search our own galaxy...even if we had lightspeed travel. Even our sun, which could hold an estimated one million earths is dwarfed by other planets just beyond our own solar system.....it would be like searching for a grain of dust in a haystack the size of a football field. Why would something that had the knowledge of faster than light travel care about earth or it's inhabitants anyway? SanAndreasManiac
Yeah, I've seen THE UFO, live, in concert in 1995. Got in on an autograph signing and there's a thread in music chat honoring their career. Phil Mogg, Michael Schenker, Pete Way, Paul Chapman, Neil Carter, Andy Parker, Mick Bolton, and some others who sat in on the line up. Like Atomik Tommy M (McClendon) UFO is one of the best hard rock bands ever, and they are spinning into orbit on tour with a new album THE VISITOR out now in fact!! Catch glimpse of them, if you're lucky! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Visitor_(UFO_album) In terms of the UFO not based on the UK club of the 60s where Pink Floyd often played, well, I've seen a fast moving SINGLE light so high up I doubt it was aircraft. It was at the darkest time of the night and I was just glaring up at space to see all the stars, so I would say, meteorite or satellite still. another useless post by.... Slamman! So do you at all understand the irony of your post? Well, as we speak I'm sure the Vulcans are developing warp drives that will eventually lead them to find our home planet in say, 100 years? They'll introduce warp technology to us, yadda yadda yadda, Khan Noonien Singh is a f*cking bastard. The way I see it, if there's an hyper-advanced civilization out there that wishes to reach us, they will. Whether or not they'd mean us harm or good, that's up in the air. Considering they've advanced far enough to hop through space no problem, they're doing something right, and probably have enough cooperation within their own race that they'd have enough experience to not simply blast our beautiful blue marble into oblivion. Fingers crossed.

God, I sound like a f*cking geek I know......space has just always interested me though. Yeah, people often fail to comprehend the distances involved and the time it would take to cross them. The Milky Way is around 100k light years wide and holds over 200 billion stars. And it's one of billions of galaxies. Most of what wee see out there happened so long ago that a lot of it may no longer be there, and whatever has replaced it can't be seen at all yet. Along the lines of what Moonshield was saying, any lifeform that's out there would need some serious cheat codes to the universe to get here. So for me it's never been a question as to whether other life forms exist or not, but rather what does it even matter to us? I think people just need to accept that a lot of the universe, albiet a great inspiration for the imaginative process, is simply beyond our scope and leave the delusional sense of reality to the Star Trek/Wars geeks. In physics, a wormhole is a hypothetical topological feature of spacetime that is fundamentally a 'shortcut' through space and time. Spacetime can be viewed as a 2D surface (to simplify understanding) that, when 'folded' over, allows the formation of a wormhole bridge. A wormhole has at least two mouths that are connected to a single throat or tube. If the wormhole is traversable, matter can 'travel' from one mouth to the other by passing through the throat. While there is no observational evidence for wormholes, spacetimes containing wormholes are known to be valid solutions in general relativity. The term wormhole was coined by the American theoretical physicist John Archibald Wheeler in 1957. However, the idea of wormholes had already been theorized in 1921 by the German mathematician Hermann Weyl in connection with his analysis of mass in terms of electromagnetic field energy. This analysis forces one to consider situations...where there is a net flux of lines of force through what topologists would call a handle of the multiply-connected space and what physicists might perhaps be excused for more vividly terming a ‘wormhole’. Yeah, I once watched a documentary about the universe and they talked about worm holes too. Benjimino234
This is some serious Steven Hawking Blackhole/Wormhole sh*t going here. A bit of topic but... I think Hawking theorized that time will actually slow down while your in a wormhole/blackhole (forgot which one, I think it was a black hole he was talking about). But when I was younger I was fascinated by a collection of books by Childcraft and one of the books featured world and and space. It was awesome. But this topic is kind of going off topic, but you can't talk about UFOs to UFOs with aliens, then to life in space, then actually how large the universe is and how much intelligent those 'aliens' are. @SanAndreasManiac: Never heard of those suns, 'Eta Catarina' and 'Pistola' are they supposedly larger than Antares? bull.04
It kinda scares me just thinking about no life other than us. Cause we are smaller than a germ inside of a bacteria inside of a tiny little bead inside of the universe. That is probably the closest you can get to being nothing. That deeply worries me because our universe is about 3,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times the size of the Milky Way itself. See? I'm smart. I study. JK that was just a guess. Saggy
Yes, I really hate it when people immediately associate UFOs with aliens. I'm not sure where this supposed parity occurred, but it is rather annoying when so called "skeptics" immediately disregard any type of claim of UFOs. It was funny when people were claiming to see the Stealth Figther, and people were calling them crazy, and then low and behold people actually were seeing things. Then of course there are videos with frankly unexplainable images. It's funny to me because the people proclaiming there is a logical explanation to everything are the ones least interested in finding it. I mean, I think the majority of sightings are just planetary objects, and planes or satellites, but there are other things out there that are unexplainable only because they have not been observed commonly enough to be explained. The longer and more often people disregard them instead of investigating them, the longer they'll remain unexplained. 860
Do you think it would be possible to travel from one place to another faster than light by controlling gravity and "pinching" the space infront of you and expanding the space behind you. You wouldnt technically be travelling faster than light since you would be altering the distance not the speed. But you would get from one place to another faster than light.
