My phone says I'm signed into Google Chrome but it's asking me to sign into Google Accounts.

This happened after resetting Chrome because of the "aww snap" crashes.

If I type in my password, it'll say incorrect passphrase.

Comes to me as a surprise that more than 40% of users are still in Jellybean even after 2 years. I have upgraded to Lollipop on my Nexus. My HTC Desire's still on Kitkat though.

Indeed. Google needs to continue working on that, but as long as every SOC maker has closed source crap drivers, it won't change a lot.

It's not really Google's fault that OEM vendors are too lazy to produce reskinned, blostware filled versions. If they stopped piling a metric f*ckton of useless sh*t on top of the base OS build that needs updating every six weeks because they're utterly incapable of producing something that isn't a complete bodge, then porting new versions to old hardware wouldn't be so problematic.

So today I found out that you can't change between 3G and LTE because the Lollipop update won't let you do that. This update sucks.

The latest Google Chrome update is absolute sh*t. Switching between tabs refreshes them.

It's really bad, especially when using it on this site. Make a post in one tab, switch tab to copy image url, switch back to GTAF tab, pages greys out, then reloads, erasing the post and then switching from desktop view to mobile view, since I use desktop view on mobile lol.

I leave the house with 100% battery on my GS5. An hour before school ends, the phone dies. This is stupid. Do I need a new battery or something?

Sounds like a problem I had with my tablet once. There was some issue with Google Play Service update, so I reverted back to factory installed and problem was gone. No more battery drain

Try that first.

That's a bad thing?

Jk, you're gonna have to be careful now whether you go out when is raining with that phone or something like that. It was never water-proof, anyways.

Looks like I won't be getting a GS6 anytime soon.

I was thinking of getting the One Plus One (I got 2 of my friends to buy it) but now I'm veering towards the Asus Zenfone 2. Expandable memory and dual sim support is quite a plus for me.

Any thoughts on Zenfone 2?

Seems pretty decent to me. From what I've seen the highest end variant (ZE551ML) is supposed to be $322 USD, not sure about the cost in India but based on the prices in China, for the 32GB model with the Z3580, it could be around RS. 17k.

If it really is at this price point then this will be the new flagship killer. I'd recommend going for a model with the 2.3GHz Atm Z3580, it's quite a bit better than the 1.8GHz Z3560.

If it's as reasonably priced here in the UK then I think I'll pick one up :D

For those kind of specs, I'm willing to shell out around Rs.25k. New flagship killer, indeed.

I think my GS5 invincible.. but I ain't gonna break it on purpose :p I've dropped this thing on wood, tile flooring.. and even asphalt at one time. The only thing saving the screen is that front lip it had around it.

Just got the Note 4 and honestly it's a whole lot better than my Note 3. My dad also just pre ordered the S6 but I have a good feeling he's gonna be disappointed.

I updated my Mom's tablet yesterday, ASUS Fonepad, ZenUI, Android L 5.0 finally...

The icons and some of the UI kept the same ugly thing as 4.4.4, it's like there was no change =l

At least the performance seems to be improved...

0531d-0dec798e-557a-4459-ab54-c9f5a942ca

BTW, Widget Clock, same old thing like Jelly Bean

It's like there was little to no update in the UI.

System UI on K.K for ZenUI wasn't really that different from what it is now on L.

That would be down to Asus. They probably did it to avoid confusion for their customers or something.

Yeah, some people can get really confused and pissed at major changes.

One of my friend's friend had her Android One phone updated to Lollipop automatically and hated it immediately. Apparently, being used to Kitkat, she couldn't understand what's what in the Lollipop version. Now, to a technically sound person, that might sound a bit ridiculous but some people really do struggle with technical/cosmetic changes.

I just don't understand why they went with shapes.. They could've redesigned the little icons but instead they just said "f*ck it". Thankfully if you are rooted, I think you could change em.

Just installed Cyanogenmod 12 on my Z1.

Not a big fan of all the colors, but it runs smooth as f***, very impressed I have to say.

CM11 occasionally had some framedrops like rendering 30fps when opening the app switcher or such, but that is all gone now. Might be ART instead of Dalvik-VM.

So far Stock 4.4< Cyanogenmod 11 < Cyanogenmod 12.

(That being said, as much as I disliked stock Android 5.0 performance on my Nexus 7 in comparison, it also runs pretty well on the Moto G)

A completely useless innovation for phones and now also it doesn't even work.

Samsung should maybe continue with microwaves and washing machines, because anything from smart tvs over phones to SSD's they make is really horrid.
