08LasVenturas
I tried asking this elsewhere but I got no luck and I thought that you fellow members here at GTAForums can help me. My health teacher is obviously a chain-smoker and she's a health teacher (how ironic) and stands at the front of the class telling us not to smoke. Meanwhile, she comes in smelling like cigarattes, has a deep, raspy smoker's voice, and coughs so much.. she sounds like she's hacking up a hairball. But she claims that she's never smoked in her life and says that "all you kids that smoke are all delinquents". I asked here just because I got no good answers elsewhere. What are some good ways to help her spill her guts?

chris
Why not mind your own f*cking business and let her do her job? Jesus christ who gives a f*ck if she smokes, she is advising you people not to take up smoking and you should listen to her rather then trying to run a class investigation. You already admitted that your aware of her smoker like traits such as the cough, raspy voice etc so doesnt that tell you its best not to do it? f*ck me, are you 5? Maxrevv
Let her smoke. And if that bothers you, just arrange a new rule for a teacher to smoke only outside the classroom then.
Rebel
Why would you even want to prove that she's a smoker? Really, if you don't want to listen to what she says then don't. Although smoking is bad and she's teaching that its bad, its her personal choice to smoke.
Tsar_Smirnoff
I wouldn't try to harass her about it man, I mean smoking is a very hard habit to break. You never know, she could be trying to quit. I would listen to what she has to say about how bad smoking is for your health...after all she would know better than anyone. 08LasVenturas
True, backing off & leaving her alone probably is the best thing to do. But we find it dumb when she says things like "if you smoke you will go nowhere in life", which just makes her sound stupid, considering she smokes. Girish
If I was a health teacher, I'd admit that I'm a heavy smoker, I'd stealthily put some red tomato sauce in my mouth and then unintentionally demonstrate the ill effects of smoking by coughing out the sauce. Would help scare a few kids, at least.

Robinski
Just because she smokes doesn't mean you shouldn't take notice of what she says. As mentioned, maybe she's speaking from the experience of sufferings the consequences of smoking. Also, most people do things consciously knowing theyre abd for them because they enjoy it, are addicted, or don't care that it's bad for them; this doesn't mean they think you should do them too. Personal example: I agreed to play a game of Voka Fifa at the weekend, knowing fine well that vodka doesn't agree with me and that I'm sh*t at Fifa and I ended up falling asleep about 2 hours into the session. I knew fine well that this, or worse would happen, but if someone similar to me were there I'd encourage them not to play/take it easy.
ScratchCard
Removed my previous comment. On second thought: You should take the advise from a smoker a lot more serious then that of a non-smoker.

Panz
I had the exact same situation in 6th grade or something. Many people have seen my health teacher smoke, and he overheard me talking about that to someone, so he calls me to the front of the class and asks me where he heard it... I tell him the kid because I'm an awesome snitch, and he's all "Well, I don't smoke. I've never smoked. He's lying." I saw him smoking shortly after that. Gotta love teachers. Anyway, they deserve it. It's her fault she started smoking, anyway. Just let her lie and smoke herself to her misery.
Exkabewbikadid
While I'll have to agree with every other post in this thread that suggests you should just leave it alone, I'll offer an alternative. Get a camera and follow her around on breaks. If she's a chain smoker, then she can't go long without a drag, so you're pretty much guaranteed to catch her in the act on the school campus. If not, then you'll have to be a bit stealthier and follow her in a car at the end of the day. I bet she won't get a block from the school without lighting up. Once you've captured the proof, you'll want to print the photos out on a transparent sheet and get an overhead projector to present them in class. Bam, another life shat on. Mainland Marauder
If I was a public school teacher I'd probably end up smoking like a f*cking chimney. It's not illegal to take photographs in public places, and second, there is surely a rule forbidding smoking for everyone on campus. I suppose he could submit the evidence anonymously to the school board et al as well. Not that I advocate any of this.
