cornedbeefsandwich Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 the title says it all. the red ring of death. my warranty has expired, so should i try to fix it myself (by listening to the people on instructables.com), or buy an xbox 360 elite? Because the Xbox 360 is past it's prime, it's all downhill from there. You are not interested in a PS3, which is only just now actually taking off. While the 360 slows down and begins to build a demand from it's user base to make a new hardware set, PC and PS3 will be getting the BEST games, watch. I highly recommend you get Out of the consoles entirely and onto a PC. (I have no words or conversation for anyone who quotes me. Feel free to contradict, but know that I won't be arguing about old video cards in consoles vs new video cards in PCs and the difference between the Xenon and the Cell and what it means for rendering.
