Algonquin Assassin
When I woke up this morning it was like being on Mars. Everything was covered in dust.
unopescio
Yeah all the cars were covered in a layer of dust and sh*t yesterday. Most of it seems gone now though.
Algonquin Assassin
It looks pretty clear here in Newcastle now. We even had a blackout. Not sure if it was due to the dust storm, but more than likely. I went for a walk at lunch time today, and it was so windy, and dusty. Almost like being out in the desert. chris
That is beautifull, i wish i could have been there to experience it first hand. On the plus the suns cracking the flags in Liverpool right now.
Algonquin Assassin
This is a satelite photo. It measured 320 miles wide, and 620 miles long. The worst in 70 years. The storm has now hit Queensland.
willgtavcs
WTF LOL Was it on the News? Yes it has been all day. it was all the news talked about. Tsar_Smirnoff
That's crazy man, the redness of this picture is almost other-worldly. Jesus, I wonder if they're having a hard time breathing with that many dust particulates drifting in the air.
King Of Monra
Not fog per say, but still looks cool. I imagine that it's a bloody annoying place to be right now.

Jay
I wonder if they're having a hard time breathing with that many dust particulates drifting in the air. Apparently there were hundreds of people in hospital with breathing difficulties. I'm a bit pissed the weather was okay in this part of the country. That looks so intense. GTA3Freak-2001
You thought that was bad check out this video of Broken Hill as of yesterday. Same dust that Sydney got turning day into night.

1ManArmy
Man that is kinda awesome though if I were there i'm sure i'd feel a little worried. Just me letting my imagination fly around. tw!tch
Jesus, I wonder if they're having a hard time breathing with that many dust particulates drifting in the air. Indeed. People were generally advised not to spend to much to time outside this morning, asthmatics especially. One of the worst parts of this was, i washed all 3 cars we own last weekend. stupid idea that was...

makeshyft
Brisbane was assaulted. There were sirens going off all day, probably due to breathing difficulties. I actually had to work outdoors on South Bank... my clothes are f*cking filthy, and my nose is full of granulated sh*t. Now, Scratchcard: no, it is not a regular thing. We're talking about a country the size of the contigious United States. It's a massive landmass, and weather is unpredictable. I have lived in my particular state for 28 years, and have never seen anything like this. Air quality reached dangerous levels.

It was freaky sh*t.

Rebel
Those are some awesome pictures right there. Can't say I'd want to be there because of how difficult it might of been to breathe but I'd of loved to of been there just to see the red sky and sh*t. unopescio
The same sort of thing happened where I live in 2003, only it was caused by fires instead of dust. f*ckin scariest thing Ive ever seen was speeding home past burning houses and buildings. The fire stopped a couple hundred meters from my home.

Robinski
Those pictrues are pretty awe inspiring, most of them unbelievably beautiful. I bet it's a hell to live through though, not only getting dirty from just wandering about outside but trying to breath air that thick. I bet the cleanup'll take a good while to finish, or a rainstorm at least. PS: I was really tempted to get that Mars picture, shop a red circle around something in the distance and claim alien architechture or something jsut to see how some idiots people would reacted.
