Feral Slug
as some of you know, Georgia had some severe flooding monday. Being a victim of it, I can't help but wonder what Liberty City could have been like flooded. Soon, I'm sending this idea to Rockstar in hopes of it being released as DLC. here's basically what i want (at least whatever of it can be done): Heavy rain- Water levels rise significantly, low areas flood, hydroplaning much more likely, pedestrians (and Niko/Johnny/Luis) slip and fall randomly, low visibility High winds- Pedestrians (and N/J/L) have 'drunk' effect, light vehicles get thrown around, heavy ones have trouble staying straight, trucks/vans fall over Hail- Pedestrians (and N/J/L) get health slowly drained and eventually KO if they don't find cover, cars get windows and top damaged, nearly impossible to drive without losing control Ice storm- cars take twice as long to start, pedestrians/N/J/L slip and fall, cars slide around, getting up hills virtually impossible Offshore storms- waves much bigger than usual, boats carried onto land, low lying areas hit by tidal waves which sweep peds/N/J/L off their feet and push vehicles around (i don't wwant this stuff all the time, just as often as other weather patterns.) i know it's unlikely, but maybe if we show enough interest, rockstar will do it. post your thoughts. DrAnomalous
Neat but highly unlikely especially for dlc. Extreme weather would mean all kinds of new bugs would pop up and have to be ironed out for it to work properly.
Tsar_Smirnoff
I'm right there with you in the rain department...I live in Knoxville, Tn and it's been raining like a motherf*cker for the last week, but not nearly as bad as you guys. On topic: I love weather and I love studying the weather, so it comes natural that I like your idea a lot....but as you've said, it's highly unlikely. I think they could at least involve some sort of "accumulation" system in the next GTA you know? Like you said, rainfall slowly creating torrents in the street and snow slowly piling up on the grass and road. If they ever had a GTA in the midwest, I could see the hail coming into play(they get a lot of severe thunderstorms)...and if they ever go back to Vice City they should include some sort of "Hurricane Mode" like "Chaos Mode" in San Andreas. I agree with you, I think the weather should play a stronger role in future GTA's.

SKYHAMMER
I like your idea, but more than a DLC i think it would be included in the next GTA, such a big improvement to weather would require a big improvement in other areas as well, don't you think? Great idea though
iDon
Georgia had some severe flooding monday. Must not be in the area that I stay in
TheBruceter
I like it Going a bit more into it, imagine Hurricanes, earthquakes etc. All of this would be very difficult to implement but hell, we can dream can't we
willgtavcs
I would find something like this annoying, perhaps a dust storm, or a flood during a particular mission segment. but i wouldn't really like it as a casual thing to disrupt my gameplay rhythm.
