3niX
Well... Oh and pretty much all GM cars that take direct fuel injection and a turbo, strap it on their V6s and call it EcoBoost. Thats actually Fords technology and terminology...
Starion
i dont see how it would be too hard to buy a regular E39 estate and drop a 5.0 V8 into it, not too mention how original the car would be compared to the many others you see around. People have made e39 m5 estates before, but it's a big job. If it's not a 540i you need all the M5's wiring loom, the engine, drivetrain, suspension, and the bumpers, and etc. This is the m5 loom being put into an estate: That must of been a nightmarish job. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno. Algonquin Assassin
The new Chevy Impala with a V8 Why put a V8 engine in a fwd car? What an oxymoron! I believe GM is the only company who still does that. Well, the only company I can think of anyway. Chevrolet maybe. No other GM divisons have FWD V8s atleast as far as I know. If Holden ever made a FWD V8 it would be almost enough to stop me from being a Holden fan. I just can't get used to the idea of FWD + V8.

stingray.
I can't comprehend why people dislike BMW's so much. That bullsh*t. You dislike Ferraris, yet can't comprehend why people dislike BMWs so much? Interesting. The reason I dislike BMW lately, is because, incase you haven't noticed, BMW has been incessantly trying to fill every niche possible with recent efforts like the X6. Not only is this car useless in just about everything, it's also a couple of grands more than the practical and frankly, better-looking X5. It's actually a lesser car for more money. Then BMW thought: "Why don't we create a car that combines the practicality of a minivan, with the ride height of a crossover SUV, the handling of a sports-sedan, the performance of a grand-tourer and the styling of a coupe". The result is this 5000 pound atrocity, which will sit in lots next to beauties like the M3: To top it all off, BMW intends to sell thousands of these fugs to badgewhores who have no clue as to what they're blindly dumping their money on. It doesn't end here. I'm sure you all have heard about the upcoming 3-Series GT? Mercedes is responsible for this "4-door coupe" ridiculousness, but while the CLS, itself beautiful, has spawned cars like the A5 Sportback, Aston Martin Rapide, VW Passat CC, and even concepts like the Estoque, the BMW breeds new generations of Azteks: Plus, the "Bangle butt" seriously screwed up their styling before, now they have these huge nostrils which make their cars look like pigs. That said, I do love the M cars, and the new Z4 from their current lineup. Edited September 24, 2009 by stingray132

Starion
The X1 is horrible, as is the X6. Soon enough we'll see probably BMW make a 7 seat people carrier called the X4 series. BMW recently has lost all of their self respect, and it makes it seem like they're trying to piss off everyone as much as possible before they go bankrupt because nobody wants to buy their pig ugly cars any more. They've even shut down Mtorque, a big BMW fan forum, because they they were afraid of aftermarket replacement parts being sold there, as opposed to BMW's f*cking expensive OEM parts. Greedy bastards. Sure, business is business, but this was a fan forum, with thousands of users driving BMW's, and BMW have dissapointed all of them. But still, there's nothing wrong with the pre bangle BMW's. Pico
Honestly, the only Infinity that I really like is the G35. The G37 is alright, but too curvy with sharp, pointy accents. Not liking it as much. Most others are just ok, imo. But the FX is one ugly beast... not sure what the one you posted is, but I don't care for it much at all. tuff_luv_capo
And what's wrong with the 350Z? It's fat, sluggish, garish and looks like Elvis Presley. It doens't have much going for it at all. At first I thought Pico had posted this, and I was going to let it go because Pico is pretty knowledgeable and even though I'd whole heartedly disagree, he would at least be saying it with some sort of backing behind it, but then when I saw that you had posted it, I wasn't about to let it go. Believe it or not, I'm not even going to defend the 350z, because quite frankly, it doesn't need anyone to. It's an idolized and extremely track-respected car and there's nothing you can do about it. I guess you just wish you could afford anything people would give a sh*t about, but until then you can make borishly trite topics under the guise of an "undiscovered Jeremy Clarkson" with your couple hundred dollar bike and e-bay parts. Why don't I get an equivalent car, like say a 91 Taurus, and bolt on some carbon fiber fenders and take it to Laguna Seca for a laugh. "SHO Conversion Track Build" topic to come. 3niX
Well... Youre saying this just because you own(ed?) one. It is a fatty... but Im not going to deny that it is an appealing car. About cars I dont like/cant stand... I really dislike the "new but cheap cars"... you know, the sh*tboxes called Dacia Logan and etc. They look sh*t, drive like sh*t, have no character nor comfort. I mean, why not just get a very decent used car for the same money? Its like paying someone to perform an enema on you... with a shovel.
ryuclan
The Saab 900. I hate that little f*cker. My dad had one and the only reason he bought it was because it was a Stick Shift. His was red though with no spoiler. Sure it has personality but it was loud as hell, no heat, no air conditioning, no room in the back. My dad really is the only reason I hate this car. Personally, I have loved the 350z since the first time I saw one. Don't know why though. Edited September 25, 2009 by ryuclan

Idolized by the perma-taned, the chest-wigged and anyone with a soverign ring. Sorry, you can bash on about how it's immesely track respected as much as you want but the fact is I've driven one of the bloody things and it was dire. The ride was somehow too soft on fast a-roads, and too crashy on city streets and rutted b-roads, the gearbox was vague and sloppy, the engine sounded terrible, the throttle response was lazy...I can carry on all day and am fully aware of the fact you used to own one of the things...my question is if it's the perfect, feared, admired and reveared monster that you say it is, why did you get rid of yours? And more to the point, why is it (certainly around here, anyway) exclusively owned by the kind people who think Spain is exotic, wear tracksuits to court appearences and try and race anything and everything vaguely near them, or sissy-boys in fake tan, pink t-shirts and so-tight-they-hurt jeans who think they're more in touch with women then normal men because they enjoy pilates and watch Will and Grace. I've owned plenty of reasonably interesting cars in my time, including a 91 Inca Blue Corrado G60 with a Jabba stage 4 ported 'charger on Borbet wheels and a Nogaro Blue S4 remapped to over 300bhp. I've got a dull Audi estate because I do 50k miles a year and have two whippets, but it's still got 170bhp so it handles motorway cruising and annoying muppets in Saxos pretty well. I don't care if people don't give a sh*t about my car, I don't either. If I did, I wouldn't let my dogs in it, wouldn't fill it up on Tesco diesel and would clean it once in a while. The bikes are for go-fast fun. If you want to have fun on the roads, cars < bikes. Fin. The BMW's a big lazy sports tourer that's quite happy munching miles to the Nurburgring and back, the Triumph tips the scales at just under 160kg and does 0-60 in about 3 seconds and pull a quarter mile in the mid-high 11s. Yes it was cheap, but whats the point in spending £5k-plus on new 600/1000cc sports bike when I can build a faster one for half the price? Besides, nothing more satisfying that lapping £100k supercars on a home-built bike. Psst, a 91 Tarus won't do 0-60 in 3.2 seconds stock. A TT600 will. I eagerly anticipate any kind of build thread from you. Nice to watch you make more of a muppet of yourself.
stuart-88
Lol, it's funny you should put in that car, you wouldn't want to work where I do. I work for a company and we build vehicles for wheelchair access. Berlingo's, Renault Kangoo's, Ford Connects etc. I see them all day long My least favourite cars? Saxo's and Corsa's I've actually got a Opel(badged a Holden) Combo Van that's had that same modification as the Kangoo's and Berlingo's I imagine you work on, I only have it out of need as they are kinda ugly what with having the front end of a Corsa and a box for a rear-end. Honestly it is a good car for what it does and allow me to do so I can't say I hate them when the alternate is some uglier big Van. Soak up the ugly! Yeah that's kind of what we do, we don't put a higher roof on though, just chop the floor in the middle and weld in a lowered ramp. I think we all need to have a big car lovers hug The fact is every car has its cons, we can't go insulting eachother personally when some one disagrees with an opinion. And personally, even though the 350 is a fat car, I mean 3,500 for a tiny car like that, it's still a nice sports car. Otherwise it would have flopped terribly. stingray.
The Genesis Coupe weighs roughly the same. But then again, it does seat 4, not very comfortably, but still. @Lurch: Even American cars are porkers. The Challenger weighs 4000 lbs. The Camaro at 3800+, the G8 also at 3900-4000lbs, the Taurus SHO at 4500, the normal Taurus above 4000, the new LaCrosse at above 4000. Pretty much every American car except the Corvette weighs more than it should. It's obviously due to stricter safety regulations, and that most people demand in a compact car what one might expect in a mid-size.
