man one thing is that R* has idiots working with them and other whole different thing is that modders are always trying to fix the effin idiotic errors they leave in the game and try to make a better looking and optimizeed game..

Rockstar had a time limit to build a game from scratch and have it tested for bugs. We modders have unlimited time to merely refine the game. That's a very, very unfair comparison. Give me an completed mod for GTA that was built from scratch (similar to Myriad Islands, which unfortunately died... I thought people like you would help with that project...), and then your comparison could be more fair. The purpose of modding a game is to make a game better for the player's own personal gaming experience. Maybe the games R* created was considered the best that they can create within the limited time, satisfying the majority but unfortunately not satisfying others. These others would mod the game to make it better for themselves, but would it be right for them to also call R* having idiots for not satisfying their needs?

i made a new hd claude head, with details, and i putted a few detailed thing to claude (shoes, hands)

i know, that this model doesnt look like the original claude so much, because the orginal claude had unrealistic scales, and texture, but i tried to look a bit like claude.

god damn it stop using other peoples mods. see youve just used facegen for the head and one pieces hd claude. i bet one third of this mod belongs to one piece.

man, are you a bit retarded? where can you see onepiece's hd claude, this model and textures are by me, shoes and hands are converted from iv, and retextured,

and yes, i used a facegen head as scratch, and i edited in 3ds max, because i didnt want to work 2weeks on the head. but why is it problem? facegen software is for makin heads in game, and if you buy the software, you can export the heads. its the best and fastest way to make realistic head models. but i need to edit a lot to look like the original model

or can make your own head model. "making" facegen heads show no skill what so ever.

We have one next to a fire department in the city I live in. Im pretty sure its a training building for fire fighting.

From what I see, the building is using not more than 2-3 textures. Try to not put texture having repetitive effects on edges and specially on the angels. It will look dull because I've encounter myself sh*ty glitches with San Andreas. But I think you already know that.

If you feel comfort with making the base in facegen then do so, there's no right and wrong here! All this crap about inferior techniques and sh*t is making me mad, as long as sh*t comes out all right it doesn't matter! angry.gif

that weirdo object appeared in your map scene in place of other building? or you modeled it?

 

couse it happends that III era GTA engine confuses buildings after adding a bunch of them and not rebuilding in much time

or

the ID you used for a building is already existing and is showing the mesh identified in the .IDE as that one, happends to me with IV props(they are so damn alot of them) than sometimes for just 1 digit i get wrong Prop

and can happen with big meshes too

 

BTW, the fire dept looks cool, and you never replied back about the issue i asked about to you Pearcy panic.gif

Nice! Are the stairs in the fifth pic climbable? They look as if they are.

If somehow you manage to climb the first vertical ladder.

lol.gifMy bad. I didn't look close enough to see. Still, it would be nice to have ladders that are climbable to more buildings than in the original game (not necessarily on this one).
