The stuff you posted in the annual awards topic are just nominations and nothing more. After they close, there will be polls open for each category and they will contain the people you nominated. And after they close, the staff will declare the winners.

I might be wrong but if the songs are copyright protected uploading them in the form of a mod may still count as 'illegal' filesharing.

Well, on occasion I have downed a 2l bottle of water. Drank it in almost one sitting. Now, it's true that it makes you feel like you want to vomit, it feels like your stomach could burst. But yes, it is possible and it doesn't seem to have had any negative effects.

So, if I could drink a 2l bottle, I can only assume that a 1.5l bottle would be absolutely fine.

Of course its safe for you. Maybe not for the toilet since you'd be peeing so much but it will help. Your meant to drink about 8 glasses of water a day anyway. Although I'm not sure how drinking will actually help your cold since colds usually just pass on their own.

It's completely safe, i always drink full pint glasses of water and i felt fine, only thing is say you drink as much water as a waste bin in your kitchen in less than an hour i think you can flood your lungs.

I'm not quite sure where this myth comes from. You need a water intake of around 8 glasses of water per day, true, but about half of that comes from water content in foodstuffs so in reality you only need to drink about 1.2L per day- or two full pints. It might be worth pointing out that drinking more than about 3L of water a day, particularly in quick succession, can cause water intoxication which can potential be fatal.

Bottled water companies. Saw it on some documentary about the food industry (The Foods That Make Billions or something) and it said that during the rise of bottled water some company commissioned the study for advertising purposes. As you can imagine they chose to omit the "but a sh*t load of it comes from food and, you know, drinks that aren't bottled water" bit.

I suppose it's different for different people, i mean i'm english and i don't wear shoes inside unless it's extremly cold. I know alot of Japanese order you to do it, but i think when you say "Americans" it could also depend on their culture, weather they are Asian, or just simply White or whatever.

Its not an American thing, just depends what kind of household you come from. I know in my house we wear trainers when I cant be bothered to put my slippers on. But only because we have nothing but wood floors throughout the house and the carpets so bad on the landing it doesn't matter. And you'd notice within a couple of minutes if you had sh*t on your shoe and not walk it in somewhere.

French People - Cowards, surrender monkeys, cheese gobbling snobs with garlic around their necks. Also, they're sexual deviants. Their eating habbits are disgusting, they hate us English, they piggyback on the victories of others, they're aloof and arrogant and act like a European superpower despite the fact that most nations hate them with a passion. Their film industry is a joke and they've got the most shamelessly bloodthristy national anthem in human history. They act so civilised despite the fact that 11 months out of 12 they're rioting. They get rid of a bunch of gypsies who shouldn't have been there to begin with and their media acts as if they're repeating the f*cking Holocaust. They're alarmist, elitist, snide and repulsive.

 

Russians - Drunks, communists, cossacks.

Irish - Hard drinking, ginger, fighters.

Scottish - Aggresive, deppressed, drug addicted, ginger.

Northerners - Aggresive, rude, unrefined, loutish.

Pakistani - Smelly, tracksuit wearing, leaches, boy racers.

Turkish - Kebabs, peadophiles, dirty, illiterate.

Welsh - Singers, miners, sheep f*ckers.

Jamaicans - Weed smoking, funny talking, violent, criminals.

 

I chose these as they are closer to home.

#1 Russian stereotype: All they do is drink vodka and eat cabbage.

#1 German stereotype: All are Nazi's or they hate Jewish people.

#1 American stereotype: All they eat is fast food and are all obese.

#1 Canadian stereotype: They say "Eh" in every sentence.

#1 British stereotype: They all have bad teeth and drink nothing but tea.

#1 French stereotype: They are cowards and always surrender.

#1 Chinese stereotype: They all have buck teeth or are short.

#1 Mexican stereotype: They are all drug smugglers/gardeners.

#1 African American stereotype: They are all either Gangsters, drug dealers, or rappers.

#1 Arab stereotype: They are all affiliated with Al Qaeda or hate America.

#1 Italian stereotype: Loud mouths/affiliated with the mob.

#1 Jamaican stereotype: Smoke marijuana all day and all have dreadlocks.

#1 Jewish stereotype: Cheap/big noses.

 

That's about all of them I can think of for right now. I also would like to point out that I in no way agree with any of the stereotypes listed above.

Thanks, Typhus, Brownbear, Germanic and Stef for your help, of course these are just stereotypes, trust me i'm using them as a bad example of what people think of these stereotypes, and that they are not true, that's what they are all about, i won't use all of them, Germanic's one was a nice mix so i'll use that, Cheers.

I will have your head on a silver platter. This is not even a stereotype it's just an insult. We are not lazy. I don't even know how did this even become a stereotype. We're a hard working nation. A lot of our people went to America to become miners after WW1 for f*ck sake. As for the Serbian thing. We are similar because we share a lot of history but the differences are massive.

 

If you want a real Montenegrin stereotype try this one: tribal minded savages with guns and mustache. It's still insulting to a degree but at least it's still true somewhat. And here's a picture that proves it:
