So as far as I know there is somewhat "mature" content on Youtube that requires an age filter but I actually randomly found a clip with nudity from an R Rated Horror movie this evening. This a freak occurance or more common than I know?

It's pretty rare, I know there's an image of a woman giving a blow-job on one of the fan videos for Atmosphere's Scapegoat, but that's all I've come across thus-far.

Nice to see this topic unlocked, Mike.

Still wondering a bit about my previous youtube question, like if anyone else has run into this in random searches.

All right, I'm not really expecting for an answer on this one but you can always hope. I'm looking for a movie. It involves two children, a woman and a man. The woman was not the children's mother mother. A hatbox and a diamond play large roles and there's a whole lot of traveling involved. I think they visit Paris at one point.

Excuse my vagueness.

Awww, this oughta be pinned again.

Question, I realize TV/Film/Music companies can order YouTube videos pulled for using their material, but can say, Burker King or some none media-related company do it too? If I post a video holding a Whopper, saying how much it blows and it becomes a YouTube sensation, can BK pull it?

If that was the case, Michael Bay would have had his hands full!

That's just freedom of speech, so there best not be a f*cking problem with it. As long as you don't make any unsubstantiated slanderish remarks nothing could be done by BK to pull it.

Still wondering a bit about my previous youtube question, like if anyone else has run into this in random searches.

I have seen a few videos that came up in random searchs ( ph34r.gif ) that contained some nudity, but they normally get taken down swiftly when reported. Some people are just spoil sports and want the man to win.

On the other question:

I don't think they would take it down simply because it depicted a Whopper. If it was fairly offensive or had unsubstantiated claims, or overly used the registered trademarks then it may be possible, but not likely.

Does anyone else here think that police nowadays are increasingly placing their heads further up their asses?

I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and as some of you will know there's a significant "hoon" culture within the city. Basically, a lot of ethnics from the western and south-eastern suburbs (including my countrymen, sigh) love taking their cars onto the streets, where they drive INCREDIBLY fast (200+ mph/kph on suburban roads), do burnouts in front of houses (including my house), and perform other acts of general idiocy in the road. Despite this, the police don't actually enforce it, and seem to stop and wait for something tragic to happen before actually taking action. Like, if 4 people in a car are accidentally hit by some idiot going 150 km/h in his Nissan Sylvia and end up being killed; that's when police finally act in arresting some people.

Yet, on this note, they fine you for the most ridiculously stupid things! When driving anywhere in the city, you're bound to find some hard-nut going 30 km/h faster than everyone else driving past you, with no police camera/car in site, yet as soon as you brush over by 1 kilometre, you lose 3 demerit points and receive a f*cking $150 fine. What about the idiot who just drove past me at 130, and gets off (essentially) scotch free?!

Which leads me to another thing, why are there a lack of bloody public toilets in major cities?! If I'm on a night out in the city and I am desperate for a piss, I have literally no where to go. It's as if that there's only one toilet for two kilometres within the city centre, which is meant to be one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Once, this desperation turned heads when I had to go under a bridge to take a leak. And, wow, how about this, a f*cking police officer happens to walk past and fine me $300! Luckily, using logic and common sense, I talked my way out of it telling the officer that I was desperate and that I shouldn't be fined for natural bodily action, and he let me off with a talking to.

/rant, and question: Have the police ever acted this stupidly to you before?

The hoon laws have worked to some extent, in that there have been significant number of vehicles impounded (including Lewis Hamilton's). However it seems to be a pebble removed from a quarry. There is still HUGE numbers of people hooning around and getting away with it. We can only hope that by continuing to enforce the hoon laws eventually the message will get through (or at least have enough cars crushed) for something noticable to occur. I've never had any issues with the police.

As for the second part of the post, I'm not sure if its just Melbourne that has problem with lack of public toilets. I know when I visited Hobart a year or two back that they had a few in the public parks and what not. Weren't exactly in a great condition but its a public toilet, you gotta expect that.

Does Carcer City refer to Detroit?

It's either Detroit or Chicago.

My question is who re-opened my topic and why?

If you don't answer? I'm going to thank you anyway.

My question is who re-opened my topic and why?

Well someone sent me a pm asking why it was closed, so we discussed it a little more and felt there is no harm in letting this topic stay open since it does serve a purpose.

However, if people spam it up like beto. up there with bullsh*t replies, then it'll be closed again pretty damn quick. Just a heads up, this isn't chat/irc.

I'm sorry man, but all the various possible Google searches brought back nothing..

Was the family, or a member of the family in the film Black, Asian, etc... (for example, a Black family in Europe will narrow the film search slightly as it's less common than a White family). What seemed to be the general time period? What was their mode of travel? Train perhaps?

These things can help greatly while searching for "that delightful film I watched on tv late one night years ago with the Asian lovers in NYC and the girl trying to run away but her boyfriend can't do it so he stops his car on the expressway and convinces her to get back in"

Some films are just too low budget and limited release that the internet can't find them. It's so depressing..

EDIT: oh lol, don't use that many search words. For example, for your film I used like the main 5-6 search words max wink.gif

This will be a question in which there is no right or wrong answer. It's just opinion.

Which is a better OS, Vista or Ubuntu?

Vista is pure sh*t. I've only used Unbantu once so I can't really form an opinion about it. It wasn't really for me though. So I guess if I had to answer the question, I`d say Vista. I had my fair share on problems with it, but many of the other problem people experienced were on low-end PC`s. I have a high-end PC, so it didn`t really affect me any. And like I said, I tried Unbantu, but it just wasn`t for me,

Not very true. Get Vista if you have a PC good enough to handle its high requirements. But then, if you have a good enough PC, why get Vista now that Win 7 is available and is much more better than both XP and Vista.

The thing is, I currently use Vista and I just want to know if it would be smart to change OS since Vista can be really f*cking annoying at times. Windows 7 is also an option.

If Win 7 is an option, I don't think you should be even considering Vista. As simple as that. smile.gif

That's the thing, they're all white and English if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure it's not one of those obscure, Hungarian films that go unnoticed, I think this was a rather big picture in its time (and that could've been anywhere between 1960-1990). I appreciate your trying, though. You'd think that the hat box and the diamond would yield at least a few results.

Seriously, if anyone remembers the flick, I'd love to know. This is eating me up from the inside. Family movie, travelling, planes, diamond, hat box, English people are some of the things involved in it.

Weird question 'ere. Do you guys hear music playing faster, when you're sleepy and tired? It feels like the music is fast forwarded a little. Yesterday night, when I was going to sleep, I listened some music. I was kinda sleepy and I heard it a lot more faster than usual. It's weird, I want to know has anyone else eer...experienced it? Or is it just a normal thing?

Wow... I'm not alone?!

I love that feeling, and to be I honest I dread the moment where you turn on your iPod and it seems like your songs are going really slow, know what I mean? Sometimes, I put on my iPod while I'm falling asleep just to hear my favourite songs at a fast tempo, because in my opinion they sound much better when they're played quicker.

I too would like to know the answer to this question, why does this happen?! I will be eagerly anticipating answers as well. smile.gif

^yeah, this feeling happens to me too.

Sometimes I hear music and it seems faster than normal, when I'm not even tired.. whatsthat.gif

It's bizarre because I'm certain the tempo wasn't that fast before.. But it's very subtle..
