Exactly what benefits do moderators and administrators get? I know they can ban, edit other people's posts and profiles, lock topics, and bin topics, but what other things can they do?

Are you actually serious? You think that just because he has been here a long time and has more posts than a sh*t load of other members this merits him a chance at being mod? I really don't think you realise how often he's gotten temped over contributing little, if nothing to a topic that he posts in yet learning nothing from these temps.

They're not actually deleted. They are just moved to a forum that only the staff can see. They do still count toward your post count.

The daily top posters list is the top posters in the last 24 hours; therefore, as the hours pass, posts made outside of the last 24 hours disappear from the count.

Yes. It's something like Timestamp-60*60*24 (86000 seconds in 24 hours).

 

I have a question: why can we see through air? The air consists of molecules. A metal blob consists of molecules, but I can't see through that. Why? I'm no scientist, but I believe your somewhat right. There are the 3 states of matter; Solid, Liquid, and Gas. The proximity of the molecules in each substance determines it's state. Molecules that are packed closely together are solids. Molecules that are together are liquids. With a gas, its molecules a just spread everywhere. It's a clusterf*ck of molecules basically. Their spacing and the relatively small size of an Oxygen and Nitrogen is what lets us see through air. At least that would be my guess with my Chemistry knowledge in mind.

 

For a more detailed and accurate answer, ask a science teacher at school or something.

Yes! Go to your profile and underneath your forum name click on "Find all posts by this member"

That will give you a list of all your posts.
