Good to see this back on topic, and not just chit chat, I'll suggest one film score, Once upon a time in the West, some great pieces of music from that classic western movie.

 

Next question:  Why is there a lot of hate for Jewish people? I ask because I have never met or spoke to anyone Jewish before, I've seen plenty of Jewish characters on tv shows, and they seem perfectly normal and kind, yet there are always jokes about how Jewish people only care about money? Is this just a stereotype? Where does this originate? Does it stem from religous roots? Any feedback appreciated.

The writers of the gospels bore quite a lot of ill will towards the Jewish teachers. The Pharisees and the Saducees are portrayed as the biggest villains in the story of Jesus. One of the Apostles even added in a part where one of the Jewish elders said 'Let his blood be on our hands and the hands of our children!' When Jesus was presented in front of the mob by Pilate.

 

With the Christianisation of the Western world, this kind of Anti-Semitism was given free reign. The idea that the Jews killed Jesus has been a driving force behind pogroms, inquisistions and all other manner of atrocities. It doesn't matter that Jesus was a Jewish nationalist, that he's referred to as a Rabbi in the Bible or that Christianity is still technically an offshoot from Judaism. The Jews killed Christ, and that idea has never been fully let go of.

 

There's also slight elements of class hatred and the simple dislike of peculiar outsiders.

Why are some chocolates in boxes wrapped in foil whereas others aren't?

I think it's just a marketing strategy. The foil may make it seem like the chocolate is of a higher quality and thereby allow the manufacturer to charge higher prices.

 

Consumers might use the fancy wrapping to justify paying the higher price too.

 

Though it may also have something to do with the type and nature of the chocolate. I'm not too educated about chocolate.

I'm sure if someone has a heart condition or something, the shock could cause a problem, so if they didn't get immediate attention, they could die.

Why was the Sears Tower renamed to the Willis Tower, in Chicago?

Because a company called Willis Group Holdings leased a portion of the building and obtained the building's naming rights. I don't like the new name at all.

None of his posts are bad. The real problem is the context in which they're posted in. He was warned for constantly going off-topic and derailing threads and subsequently banned for ignoring repeated warnings/temps. As long as he doesn't do any of that again, he should be fine.

Just ignore them. The more you react, the more you are feeding them. Definitely do not pull out a knife and act hardcore!

Ignoring won't work, best thing you can do is confront them, put them in their place, it will scare the crap of them, grab the main culprit by his throat and look him in the eye, and say whats your f*cking problem? Obviously I'm not fully aware of the circumstances surrounding this, but its never good to ignore something, its always better to solve it, you got a few choices, be a man and fight or be pussy and ignore or tell someone else who might be able to help you.
