Have A Question?

Well there are medical users and recreational users for it too, all depends on the person.

High CBD apparently gives the user a very relaxed feeling along with mental clarity being highly increased.

No need for Big Pharma, dispensaries already carry a couple strains which are high CBD/low THC. I've seen some grows of one of these strains too smile.gif.

Don't you need a massive testing budget though as you can't detect CBD through smoking? That was the only reason why I had it down as being Big Pharma only stuff.

You do, but there are some major breeders who can afford these tests.

Also, the claim that smoking pot isn't habituating is ridiculous. Anything can be habituating, depending on the person.

Totally agree. Actually, that is the one thing that I was always taught. It isn't physically addictive, but more habit forming.

So true it being based on the user. Has anyone ever seen 'my strange addictions'? The other night they had a lady who was addicted to eating toilet paper. Not a physical addiction, but a habit.

I have an unrelated question. How do non English keyboards work? Ig. Like French and having to use accent aigu, and accent grave over letters and all. Do you have to type the 'a' and then add the accent? I'm sure I could just do my own research, but this is easier.

I've used a French AZERTY keyboard before. Complete arse-ache for touch typers.

The accents are shift functions like a bunch of other things on English keyboards, only some keys have alt-shift as a third function. Again, an arse-ache because '@' is an alt-shift function and it took me 5 minutes to log into facebook because I had nfi how to put my email into the field.

Same with the German QWERTZ keyboards, only different again.

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but the only times keys vary is if there's extra letters in the alphabet, like the German ß- but on some keyboards they have dual and even triple functions. Things like accents can be done by learning the ASCII for them- for instance, é is ALT-0-2-2-3. I think theres a way of doing the accented letters that doesn't involve learning ASCII- not sure how, though.

Edit- beaten to it.

Thanks guys. Either way it sounds like it would be a pain in the ass. I'm glad I only need to worry about english tounge.gif

I was always taught in school that German keyboards and the associated stuff didn't have the ess-tsett any more these days as there's some effort to just replace it with the "ss" it represents in just about every use of the character. I imagined that this would largely be to things such as latin-alphabet based computers/networks, but apparently it works fine in stuff like urls.

I think it's cool though, and I'll never accept "heisse" as a valid spelling of "heiße".

The last reforms f*cked up the whole language completely. The ß is still on the keyboard and now both is valid :S

Long Haired Freaky Guy

On the subject of keyboards, is it American keyboards that have the @ above the number 2 on the keyboard? I remember at school I was pressing the key with the @ symbol on, and it kept putting " instead, and someone told me it was how American keyboards do it.

I think US keyboard have a lot of punctuation/symbols located differently to UK/European keyboards. I remember a specific example from when I first played Oblivion for PC (one of the three games on PC I've ever played seriously) and I got really frustrated trying to open the console because I was pressing the ~ key and nothing was happening. Of course, on US keyboards it's mapped to the key next to 1, or at least that's the button I have to press, which has ` ¬ and ¦ mapped to it on mine. Took me ages to figure that one out.

We must use American keyboards in Australia, then.

'@' is above the 2 and we have the '$' above the 4 instead of the pound sign (which I would use, if it were on my keyboard)

Yeah the @ sign is on the 2. Took me forever to get used to an American keyboard when trying to sign into my email account. They have other stuff moved around on the keyboard to, but nothing that you really notice apart from the lack of a £ sign.

1.) yes, it happened.

2.) He threw it, it was deflected by a defender, and he caught the ball from the deflection.

just a quick question, How do you add the song link like this?[/color]

It is added automatically by YouTube. No action needed by the uploader.

I have a short machima piece that has a Barry Manilow song quietly in the background, and youtube picked it up and added the link. It is kind of embarrassing because now my silly little machinima piece looks like a Barry Manilow promo.

oh ok, thanks guys. icon14.gif

@tripmills: xD you're not a fanilow?

Ahhhh.....no.

But when making a machinima piece about Slamman, Pawn shops and Laserdisks, Manilow's 'Copacabana' just seemed to fit tounge.gif

Another trick...

Well...you know how Google puts their ADs on top of the videos? Well...you can add your own link on top of that as well.

Go to your account select "Promote video" follow by "New Promotion" then select "call to action overlay" add your description, then where it reads "Display URL" add your personal link. When a user views your video and hovers the mouse over the video the link will be shown and you can as well hide it. You can change the size color, etc, ect.

I hope I explained this clear enough I'm sort of in a hurry. tounge2.gif

I was going to suggest "Chopper"; it's only semi-autobiographical but it's very good.

Im talking about like a book written by someone about their experiences of organized crime.

Try "The Ice Man." It's about Richard Kuklinski, who was a mafia hitman and general psycho. Link.

The Ice-Man is just an attention whore. If he was really the cold, ruthless killer that he claimed to be, then he wouldn't have been such a loud-mouthed prisoner.
