Unfortunately no, but hey , why does it matter?

I mean Gta is evolving so fast that we will forget about older games, sooner or later.

 

When I have nailed TBOGT 100%, and played freemode for a while, I will prob go back and finish GTA IV again.

Because then you have forgot a bit of Niko's story, which make it more fun to play the game again!

I don't see why we should be upset for a excellent game release!? I mean, Niko, Johnny....

You will still be in our heart's....

I can say I'm not disappointed at all with this. I'm a little skeptical about the whole, car customization feature, if its added. I DO want it to be included, but just not sure of it.

I'm only dissapointed because this may well be the last DLC for GTAIV.

In all honesty, i would of prefered the two DLCs to be an addition to Nicos story.But what we got with TLAD, and whats looking to be great with TBOGT, is just getting me revved up to play GTAIV again. One major dissapointment i have with the DLCs to date, is that the cars and weapons cant be used in vanilla GTA IV. Even if it's for free mode/end game use, i really dont see why this should be.

I'm seriously hoping the PS3 owners will be getting some DLC and inturn, that means more for us 360 guys.

I was always of the opinion that GTAIV should have been down to earth for the missions/storyline, but should have packed way more fun stuff for outside of the story.

 

I hated San Andreas because of it's ridiculously stupid story. I loved it for all the things you could do, though. Hopefully Rockstar North will begin to realize that you can have your down to earth experience in the story, but you can pack a crapload of ridiculous stuff just for fun...

It seems that's exactly what they're doing with BoGT (at least I HOPE they are)

the only thing I'm dissappointed about is the length of time between the releases.

 

I hope they shorten the time between for future DLC stuff.

Seems like too long to finish one story.

 

Like reading a book...but you have to wait for the next chapter, and they don't tell you when the next chapter will come, until like 8months later. Kinda annoying.

 

anyway, Luis better be fun to play with..'cuz I went back to Niko's story and multiplayer due to Johnny's story not being so fun to begin with.

 

I'm looking forward to finishing this long-ass-drawn-out-saga.

You can never compare Saints Row with GTA IV.  The physics engine of GTA IV makes Saints Row look like it was made by monkeys with hats.  Fair enough it was alright to play the first edition of Saints Row until GTA IV came out but it never even crossed my mind buying Saints Row 2 or thinking it might have anything on GTA IV.  GTA is on a whole different level.

 

And now they have brought out more content which can only make the game better.  Parachutes were easily the best thing in San Andreas, imagine 4 people jumping out of annailator parachuting down into battle on Free Mode and whatever other new game modes they release.

 

I hope they release 'GTA IV - Vice City' & 'GTA IV - San Andreas'.  Or base the games in other cities like London or Tokyo.  As long as it has planes, parachutes, tall buildings/mountains and the abilty of climbing/grapple hook... i'll be happy.

Saint's Row IS on GTA's level! what are you talking about ?

I don't even like Saint's Row but it really gives GTA a run for it's money.

 

R* copied the "fight night" stuff from Saint's Row!

 

Rockstar know Saint's Row is not no True Crimes and won't back down easy.

 

I'm neither no R* fanboy because Saint's Row may have sh*t graphic's but they do have fun gameplay and lets you make your own person to play as. GTA is just more of the "real deal" type of game, like Saint's Row is it's bootleg.

Saints Row is also no where near GTA in terms of quality. The physics in that game are beyond garbage. I played #2 a lot after it was released but anything fun about the game is destroyed by the crap combat system and vehicle handling. Even GTA III puts Saints Row to shame when it comes to vehicle handling and maybe even combat. Saints Row is a giant knockoff of GTA and isn't a threat to the series at all. The first one wasn't too bad(I played it for months after I stopped playing Gears of War and Halo 2) but the second one is clearly a San Andreas ripoff with horrible physics and no originality.

I completely agree with the lunatic. I wanted to give SR2 a chance but it was put together worse than 5th graders science project the last minute before the science fair. I think Mafia is the only openworld urban shooter that can be any competition. I doesn't have any distractions like mini games but it's done very well.

i want all of this in bogt. gta iv had realism way too much. and actually it was getting really boring after i beat it. because i used too play gta iv all the time. then it got old, and this comes out and puts some new stuff and a fun factor too it.. to make me play gta iv again..
