JohnnyTheJew
How will the achievements work? I'm thinking 250G for the new episode through download bringing the total for GTA IV up to 1500G. And 1000G for retail for Episodes From Liberty City. Or are they gonna somehow link the Episodes From Liberty City achievements to GTA IV, but that won't work well, cause maybe some people that don't own GTA IV are gonna buy Episodes From Liberty City. Anyone know how it'll work?
Royal55
They'll probably just keep the achievements from TLAD and TBoGT to add up to 500MP and possible extra achievements for players who buy EFLC.
Duxfever
One possible way is for there to be the original achievements from both DLC, and the rest being original achievements you get regardless of what you play in vanilla. I hope not, though. Edited September 3, 2009 by Duxfever
floppay
I hope there will be 1000 on the PoLC disc.
LanceVanceDance07
I don't think there would be extra achievements if you buy the Episodes from Liberty City CD. There would probably be another 250MS for TBoGT, which would make the total of 1500MS, including vanilla GTA IV and TLAD.
Enjoii
They would practically have to add new achievements for EFLC. I mean, if the game doesn't come with GTA IV then they're probably not going to add achievements that are unobtainable.
UnknownFan
i think it will be 250 for TBOGT just like TLAD. And they could make an update for live and have those without get a thing called EPiseodes from Liberty and have it with 500 max like ROCK BAND ACDC did having only 200 for a retail game
EnchantedX360
GTA IV has 1,000 and that won't change. TL&D has 250 and I don't see that changing either! TBoGT will have whatever the heck R* and MS agree to and that will be the same whether you buy the DLC from XBL or EFLC!
Carnage1120
TLAD and BOGT achievements + some IV achievements that can be carried over(like Blowing up 10 cars and helitours)
The Notorious MOB
Couldn't EFLC just read your GTA IV Acheivments off your HD meaning that you wouldn't have to have GTA IV at all as the achievements you had would just be added to the total that you get in EFLC. Johnny can still get some of Niko's Acheivements so you wouldn't really need IV atall except for story specific acheivements.. that everybody has if they completed the game. LittleJacobRESPECT
Why are you people even discussing this, this is retarded. BoGT will include 250gs, same as TLaD. Just because it comes in a seperate disc doesn't mean that it is a full retail game.

Just because it comes in a seperate disc doesn't mean that it is a full retail game. Think about it, you don't need IV to run EFLC. If they kept the same achievement list, then it would be impossible for some people to unlock the full list, which won't happen. All achievements on the base list must be obtainable to people just buying the disc.
Sicologikal
EFLC will have 500pts - 250pts per episode - 5 achievements each Personally for BOGT I would love more achievements but for the same amount of points but im sure it will stick to the original format. Here's the achievements I would expect but with my 1) From Gimp to Pimp - Complete the first mission (Ballad of Gay Tony) 5GS 2) Guardian Angel - Save Gay Tony 25GS 3) King of this Town - Finish the story (Ballad of Gay Tony) 100GS [Three achievements are Story related, two are friendship or mini-game related.] 4) Riding High - 70GS Build your relationship with ___________ to 100% (Ballad of Gay Tony) 5) Friday Night Fights - Obtain the highest rank in Fight Club (Ballad of Gay Tony) 50GS

Ash_735
GTA IV - 1,000G (50 Achievements) --------------------------------------------- TLAD - 250G (5 Achievements) TBOGT - 250G (5 Achievements)* Total: 1,500G (60 Achievements) --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- Episodes from Liberty City TLAD - 250G TBOGT - 250G Crossover Achievements from IV - 510G (so will be able to miss one or two out) EFLC Total - 1,000G *= If they do the same as TLAD Just my guess. Leo Colt
I wondered whether EFLC would carry over some IV achievements myself. Of course, the only way this would work is if some of them gave out more GS than in GTA IV. Obviously you wouldn't be able to get story related achievements if that is the case. GTA IV has 510G worth of Crossover Achievements that can be done in TLAD and assumingly TBOGT, so they could just include these and call it a package without having to come up with new achievements. True, but the person that I quoted didn't suggest that, he was saying that it should only be 500G overall.
