Oddsock Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Hi yall. I'm a 360 owner and therefore I play GTA IV multiplayer over Xbox Live. I was wondering if anyone has had similar encounters with cheaters like I have. So far I've met only a few, mainly if not always in free-roam. The first one I remember was rather aggressive and rude. He was using a pink/red Annihilator to pray on others, and when I went toe-to-toe with him most of his shots connected despite not even aiming at me very well -- it was a little too impressive to be just lag. The most recent one I encountered just a couple of days ago was driving cars, any car, far beyond the speed limit of any vehicle with instant acceleration, braking, and handling. Just as well, hitting his vehicle did little to change his constant speeding around and going in circles. He later demonstrated his SMG that shot rounds with the power of a grenade or RPG and spawned a white Annihilator. I'd also like to note that he could make baggage handlers and police cars (one of which was modded with a tan paint job and pink stripe as opposed to the white/blue combination) fly as if they were airplanes. Honestly it was so funny and cool I figured that was the closest we'd get to planes in GTA IV. I ask you all, has anyone encountered such nonsense on Xbox Live? PSN? PC online? It's unfortunate to know mods are coming into the gaming arena where we're basically defenseless -- our only tools are determination and the ability to report people for tampering/cheating. Not worth it, buying a new console just because you want to avoid cheaters in 1 game. That's absurd. Just report, set preferences, and join a new game. It's honestly not a big problem. TOO good . Me and some micless guy went there. I used a M4 (M16, no?) and just free-aim (no auto-aim) and go up on the roof. Most just circle around. I die 1 on 9 times?
