shinsta312
My theroy: There has got to be a reason Rockstar wanted to keep the voice atcer for Niko. And since they would have been working on this at the time i believe that Luis calls up Niko and asks him for his help on thing. To kill Bulgarin. Bulgarin has screwed both and left them both to die. Luis is probably right beside Tony in the screenshot we just cant see him. That would be a fitting end to the saga known as GTA IV. And yes i know this question would be asked. Why would Luis work with the kidnapper of Gracie? Simple. Revenge, he will put off all feelings towards Niko because he wants revenge. Tony well tony is a different story but i also have a feeling he wants Bulgarin dead also. Luis and Niko barely know each other. We barely see Luis in Niko's story other than the three brief appearances, so why see him in Luis's story if we haven't experienced it in Niko's story. Plus, there was an issue between Michael Hollick, The Screen Actors Guild, and R* that prevents Hollick from doing any additional voice work for R*. Mafioso86
The minute I read this I thought about TLAD and how the Lost burn down the clubhouse, which looks different in TLAD than it does in IV to begin with, and then it's all boarded up. Also how that one bar in Northwood is all of the sudden an AoD clubhouse in TLAD when it was a different looking bar in IV. And that mysterious Air Hockey table in the bowling alley just magically appeared... it's a continuity error, that's most likely it. I mean maybe it happens after all of Niko's stuff, but when you consider that type of thing when comparing IV with TLAD... it makes it (the crane) pretty far from being proof of it. On the scene with Niko and Tony from the trailer? Again I site TLAD where Johnny is dressed differently in TLAD than he was in IV in all his appearances. We also see Niko walking around Alderney in the opening scene which takes place before Alderney is unlocked for Niko. Point is, the canon isn't kept completely tidy and perfect. It could be a new scene with Niko taking place after the events of IV... but there is just no proof of it considering the past.
shinsta312
USA Today's Game Hunters community had an interview with Dan Houser back on Monday, and according to the beginning of that article, The storylines roughly parallel each other, with much of the events happening concurrently and some characters from the game and earlier episode The Lost and the Damned showing up in Gay Tony. The new episode (see our first look here) starts about half of the way through Grand Theft Auto IV and part of the way through Lost and the Damned and finishes near the end of GTA IV. I still don't know exactly when TBOGT will start, but I think it's going to end by the time Niko confronts Darko, not exactly at the end of IV, but near it. Luis' first appearance in "Three Leaf Clover" is pretty near the middle of IV and his last appearance in "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" is pretty near the end. The space between the two is comparable to TLAD so I've never thought TBOGT would extend much before or after those missions. I wouldn't be surprised if the TBOGT versions of those missions are the second and second-to-last in the episode.
Leo Colt
I can see that now. Gay Tony asks you to withdraw some money from the bank for him, and then it gets stolen. Then he panics because he's screwed, cue storyline.
The Notorious MOB
I would say that "Three Leaf Clover" Will be a few missions into TBOGT around about the same time "Buyer's Market" occurred in TLAD. The reason I say this is that they will need a few missions to build up to why Luis is in the Bank and also some missions to introduce the other side of the Story namely the Northwood Dominican Drug Dealers and build up a bit of a story around them. So My estimation is that The game will begin Towards the End of Niko's Adventures in Bohan and The Lost's trouble with Brian. And then it will end in the John Gravelli Portion of GTA IV. Tsar_Smirnoff
Have you guys read the billboard on the side of Bahama Mama's closely? It says, "Sorry, we are closed, painters are in" and then of course it says "Grand opening for all!" I just thought that was neat.....I wonder how this plays out in BOGT, I think as far as stories go, it opens shortly after Niko makes his way into Algonquin. shinsta312
you cant see double Ts or hexers in IV... Both DLCs take place at the same time as IV. With the exception of the radio, all the extra features in TLAD stay in TLAD, but that doesn't mean it doesn't take place at the same time. cornedbeefsandwich
Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer. But anyway, I hope it is proof. It'd be nice if Luis' story went on after the end. It could wrap up the whole IV saga quite nicely. what the f*ck are you saying?! i would be PISSED if they ended the IV era with 2 little DLC's. or did you mean that BoGT would be a nice end for the DLC's? because i want ATLEAST 2 more FULL games until 5. Lollercoaster
A crane is no big deal... It really only takes 1 day to build a new one. I work at a construction site and I've seen it plenty of times.

Magic_Al
you cant see double Ts or hexers in IV... You just have to rationalize some inconsistencies. In IV, Johnny wears different clothes and if you make Niko go around to the side of the museum where Johnny is supposed to enter and exit, you find his bike is a Hellfury, not a Hexer. Didn't one of the BOGT screenshots show Luis riding a Bati 800 with a custom paintjob?? No reason why not. I think the history of the III-era games shows Rockstar tending to rollover a lot of the content from previous games. History also shows that when a game is done, it's done, they don't go back and revise, they go forward and put those ideas in the next game. So the fact that IV doesn't get TLAD stuff does not mean that TBOGT does not get TLAD stuff, if very well might.
The Notorious MOB
I just noticed something that may indicate that Luis's story ends before some of us think. I was looking on the internet in GTA IV and noticed two linked news stories: "Clone Sex" and "Clone Sex Response". Clone Sex appears on the net when Niko is doing the jobs for Gerry involving Gracie but Clone sex Response appears when Niko does Pegorino's Pride. Now logicly the clone sex story would have to break in order for there to be a response so that indicates that Gerry's second set of missions and therefore Diamionds are a girl's best friend must take place before Niko starts working for Jimmy Pegorino. We know that Luis's version of DAAGBF will be one of the last missions in the game and if it follows the same pattern as TLAD it will only continue on for two missions after the last crossover mission. So I would estimate that TBOGT should end during the phil bell portion of the game or at most the same time as John Gravelli's "Entourage" as that triggers the story of the club closures which will most likely be the end of the game. JOSEPH X
I`ll wait to see how these club closures play out in BOGT, they could re-open with Luis as the boss, and carry on the club management game after the story ends.

I'm just kind of taking my cues from TLAD Where we were left with nothing at the end. That way if I expect the worst I can only be right or pleasently suprised.. It's a Win-Win
