My PC is new and its good. Update your video drivers and make sure you've installed the latest patch for the game. Try the -memrestrict command as suggested in the pinned topic. Girish Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 I don't think you've installed the latest patch. You probably have the first patch only. The second patch introduced additional options like 'Shadow Quality' and 'VSync'. Download and install the latest patch from here: http://www.rockstargames.com/support/IV/PC/patch/index.html Then, turn off 'Shadow Quality' and VSync from the Graphics option. As for the -memrestrict command, open up Notepad, type in '-memrestrict 629145600' (without the single quotes), save as 'commandline.txt' and copy the file to your GTA IV folder. You have a pirated copy of the game that is giving you issues. This would not have happened if you had the legit copy of the game. Buy the game.
