-Chewy-
okay, back in '04, I got the Brady games guide, but one thing always did my head in, an FBI truck is mentioned in the "Auto Trader" section, but I never saw it in the game and it definately isnt the S.W.A.T tank from "End of the line"
GTA Forumer
The FBI truck cannot be obtained normally. Even the FBI doesn't use it in the game. It can be obtained by mods.
Girish
The FBI truck is in the game files but it's not there in the actual game. IIRC, it was supposed to be used in some of the missions that were removed from the final release and subsequently, the truck was removed too. If you have the PC version, there are ways to spawn the truck in-game using mods/trainers.

radioman
Last time I checked the FBI vehicle spawns when you get a 5-star wanted level, and the FBI usually exits the vehicle and begins shooting at you with their MP5's.(This is called the FBI Rancher btw). skills
Also, if you have the cheat device: action replay max there is a garage code that makes it appear in the grove st. garage I made some special edition save files where i modded a FBI truck with nitro and transfenders tires. I only did 1 because the truck is slow (I'll put in the link if you want)

DarrinPA
It's odd that the FBI Truck says "SAPD" which is short for San Andreas Police Department. I wonder if the original missions that were taken out of the game had police or FBI driving the vehicle.
SanAndreasManiac
looks good, weren't supposed to be FBI??
supermortalhuman
I'm going to say no missions were removed, only a truck was switched. Rancher replaced truck. The truck is bugged, has a white LOD, but is really fun to drive on Multi Theft Auto.
SanAndreasManiac
it's almost certain that it was going to be in a deleted mission, in which u would have to save Truth with that truck
radioman
Thanks for clearing that up Girish. So, it looks like only the Chain Game saves have the FBI truck in it. Because I know it spawns across from the Dillimore safe house and in the Mullholland safe house garage in the Chain Game.-this is on PC. if on PS2, you can only get it by using a cheat device-eg. Gamesahark or ARMax.
Ray Carter
I guess it's kinda like End Of The Line and the SWAT Tank. The FBI Truck appeared in only one mission, but then the Mission was removed, no longer allowing you to obtain the Vehicle. It's kinda a strange Vehicle since the markings show SAPD, yet it's an FBI Vehicle. I'd actually have prefered an FBI Car, like in GTA: Vice City or Vice City Stories. Long Haired Freaky Guy
Aren't there two Emergency Vehicles in the game guide that don't actually appear in the game? I don't have it on me, but I remember searching for ages for those 2 vehicles, only to find out they never existed in the game. They look cool though, wish they hadn't been taken out. It's used and available only in the last mission 'End of the Line'. The third vehicle that is unusable is the Andromeda. It appears in the mission 'Stowaway' but cannot be driven or obtained anywhere without using mods/trainers.

Am gonna have a look for it when I get to the mission this time around. Is there a way to steal it, or is just used as a roadblock vehicle when you are chasing the firetruck? You're supposed to steal it and use it to break the wall to Big Smoke's crack house. Instead of doing that, just drive the tank to one of your garages and then kill yourself to end the mission. The tank will remain in the garage.

Leo Colt
It was supposed to be used in a mission called "The Truth Is Out There," where The Truth was trapped in Bayside and the FBI were closing in on him. You were supposed to go to Bayside, get past the FBI siege, and rescue him. The mission was removed for some unknown reason, and the vehicle was never used in the end. The FBI Truck also apparently had a gun mounted on the roof originally, but I have no idea whether that was indeed the case.
Girish
Ah sh*t, I remember it now, cheers. Is there anything special about the Tank, as in is it worth stealing and ending the mission for it? Well, it has a water canon at the top and I think it takes more damage than most other vehicles. People just like to collect it because of it's rarity. The-San-Andreas-man
It's also very good for going through police roadblocks. You'll go through them like nothing was ever there.

If you don't mind getting out every time to kill the criminals, then it's fine. Also, the tank in the last mission is bullet-proof and fire-proof. GTA Phreak
A homie or Denise in the passenger seat of the SWAT tank can do drive-by shootings. CJ however is stuck with the water cannon.
