foohy
Is there any way I could get the quoted text in my signature into a smaller box that isn't so wide? Like a box that is a fixed shape? The quote box expands across the whole screen... edit: Here is the code for my signature as it is now, if that helps... "We're not going to announce it. We're not going to announce when we're going to announce it. And we're not going to announce the strategy about announcing it or about when we're going to announce it either' date=' or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy. Any other questions?"[/i']
Girish
There's no way to edit the width and height if you're using quote tags, at least not that I know of. However, you can change the height and width if you use table tags instead of the quote tags. Or maybe if you put the quote inside table tags. I suggest you use Barguast's Table Code Generator. It has an option to set 'Column Height' and 'Row Width'.
Edmachine
Actually, girishb, the Table Generator's column width and row height settings are ONLY for the Table Generator so you could simply see more in the table cell. It doesn't affect anything in generating the code or the output on GTAF. On-topic: Well, the quote doesn't go over the 500x150px mark when viewed from your profile, so I guess it's OK. A member of the staff will know better, so don't count on me. geomy
Fake it? QUOTE (Strauss Zelnick -on- Announcing The Next GTA) "We're not going to announce it. We're not going to announce whenwe're going to announce it. And we're not going to announce the strategy about announcing it or about when we're going to announce it either, or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy. Any other questions?" For some reason the hyperlink won't work, maybe you can play around with it...here's the code anyway. And here I was thinking it actually provided an option to adjust the height and width. geomy's idea seems better.
foohy
My old signature on another account had things in boxes. It had an image on the left, text in the middle, and the same image as before on the right. I don't remember who gave the code to me or what the code was though. I just faked it for now...I'll go and search through my posts on that account to (hopefully) find the thread where I got the code! Anyway, thanks for the replies. Edit: I found it! I don't know why I didn't think of searching my old posts earlier...sorry for the pointless topic, I guess. Anyway, here's the code if anyone's interested: [tableb][img=http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d89/mackyle12/DSC01479-1.jpg] "We're not going to announce it. We're not going to announce when we're going to announce it. And we're not going to announce the strategy about announcing it or about when we're going to announce it either, or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy. Any other questions?" [/tableb] I still had to align the text myself, though. Edited September 2, 2009 by foohy
