Dave the Scottish nutter
Well yesterday was by far, an extremely bad day for me. A girl who I am good friends with (she's also friends with the girl I was going to ask out) told me that the girl I was going to ask out knew for weeks that I fancied her. She told me that she told her that she has no interest what so ever in me and she does not even want to speak to me ever again. The rest of her friends saw some kind of funny side to it, I got told they all said, "It would be mega funny if we all saw the look on his face when he get's rejected". She was very pissed off at them, and she told me that, and I felt pretty sh*tty over it, she did aswell, the 2 of us hugged each other and couldn't resist but cry in our arms. So thank god for that girl that saved me from pure humiliation, i'd give her anything for saving my arse and having strong feelings for me. I was settled down in my other 2 classes, but I nearly broke down in tears in English as the girl I was going to ask out is in it. So yesterday was pretty sh*tty. Punk-in-Drublic
Thats what girls are like at that age, you really, really shouldnt be worried about relationships now. Wait till your about 17 before any of that, now just focus on getting drunk on your local park and getting off with anything that comes your way, dont just focus on one girl, chances are they will be arseholes, so just keep your options open. Creed Bratton
the 2 of us hugged each other and couldn't resist but cry in our arms. Are you sure the girl you like isn't a guy? Because that sounded kinda gay. Relax I'm just messing with ya. You shouldn't take rejection seriously. You're still young. Plenty of fish in the sea. Go fish with your friends. That's always fun. D- Ice
If I was you, as soon as you feel slightly less sh*tty about the whole thing, find a public place infront of all those people who said it would be funny to see your face once you got rejected. Then ask the girl out. If she rejects you, act all cool with it, and maybe even try asking the nearest other girl out. Make it into a joke. That way your killing multiple birds with one stone. First, you'll actually know once and for all if that girl like you back or not. Never trust other people with things like that - I tried it and often "good friends" girls willlie so you might go out with them in future. Two, you automatically disprove those immature, insecure losers who conspired/said how funny your misery will be. You are acting cool like it doesn't matter, and will look like you moved on much better than they ever dreamed they could ever move on. The tables are turned and they are now the emo f*cktards. And finally, you are getting somesort of sweet revenge on that bitch who rejected you. You have single-handedly reduced her worth in the dating game. She is no longer the stuck-up bitch whose too good for a cool guy like yourself, and who seems so offended that such a commoner like you has dared to ask her royal hand in teen-dating that she now refuses to talk to you. She is now merely the bitch who you wanted to go out with for a joke/easy pussy, and whose rejected guy got over her loss like that of a sh*t flushed down the toilet. Now, I only wish I could come up with ingenius advice like this, rather than the usual cheesy confused crap, when it comes to giving advice to myself. chris
I wish it had have happened and somebody from your class filmed it on their phone, uploaded it to youtube and somebody from GTAF somehow stumbled upon it. He's fifteen which is surprising to me. Seriously, why the f*ck did you cry? Were you sad because some crackwhore wouldn't go out with you? Does she even know you? Maybe you should stalk her or something, and f*ck up her life since she could've potentially "rejected" you.

Chalk it down to teenage angst. It doesn't help that you've got all kinds of chemical build ups happening in your body right now. I'd like to say this uncomfortability and trauma is going to change as you get older but as you can see from some of the replies in this thread from supposedly older, more mature folks, that would just be lie. Sorry amigo.
Girish
Wait a minute, if she saved your arse, shouldn't you be happy instead of crying? Seriously, that's the best thing that could have ever happened to you. It's way more important for a man to save his arse than a relationship. Max
Ok, although heart break hurts, you have GOT to stop crying, especially in public. I'm not saying real men don't cry, because that's bullsh*t. I think a real man is someone that can cry and can express their emotions in ways which go beyond blind rage. However, first of all, a man crying over something this inconsequential is worrying for you later in life. If you can't stand up in this situation how do you possibly hope to cope with life when it really throws some sh*t your way? You have to learn to properly control and harness your emotions. And, to exacerbate the problem, crying in public is going to further undercut you infront of your peer group. The fact that they all thought it would be 'funny to see your face' is sad but frankly; people, let alone kids, are cruel. Regain your confidence, pull yourself together and go in fresh to school tomorrow. Don't be your own worst enemy and devalue yourself amongst both boys and girls by wallowing in self-pity. There is nothing, absolutely nothing to be gained from crying about this situation. So let it all out now, if you must, but march back into school tomorrow with your head held high and a smile plastered across your face. You'll be a stronger person for the experience. LanceVanceDance07
I'm trying to understand this story. So your friend told you that the girl you like had no interest in you? And then you cried? God damnit. I think you should take whatever your friend told you with a grain of salt. You need to find out for yourself, directly, if the girl you like likes you back. Don't get any of your friends to handle your sh*t. And it's ok to cry, just not in a public place, then you'll look like a fruit, unless it's a funeral or something. Let me give you some proper advice, girls come and go, but there will always be one lover who will stand by you for the rest of your life...your hand.
