MAN IN THE DARK
What the f*ck are they thinking. They add so much stuff, so much new things in BoGT. Even story gonna be longer, I bet. And what we have in TLaD just Real joke to me. It,s need more time OK, but anyway. What are you think ?
XAF226
AFAIK Rockstar was made at least a part of TLAD while making IV.
The Notorious MOB
Yeah I agree. TLAD is gonna be left in the Dark after TBOGT comes out like it'll just be cast aside like The Ballad's Ugly Sister. I feel bad for it like it was a really good game but no doubt Gay Tony will blow it out of the Water.
stinomontana
so your complaining cause tbogt will be larger and more features then tlad?
Derelict Frog
TLAD was effectively a trial-run for R*. I assume they wanted to see what they could do with DLC before BoGT came out. I still think the story and the whole thematic experience of TLAD is worth it.

Work on your grammar before you criticize someones work, I doubt you could engineer a grain of sand much less an entire series of video games. Opening your mouth merely shows your ignorance. TLAD was great and I am playing through the story once again too numb the pain until Oct.29, 2009. Rebuttal anyone?
hugorohden
Come on guys, lets just be happy for the upcoming wonder! ALL SALUT TBOGT!
CJPNE
Yeah, I agree. Johnny gets to arm wrestle, Luis gets to blow up cranes and use parachutes. A tad unfair to say the least.
AlJaDa
It's destined be remembered as the one with 'the one with the gravelly voiced guy in the jacket and we saw the British guy's wang.' I'm just hoping they don't rush the ending to the storyline in BOGT.

I still think the story and the whole thematic experience of TLAD is worth it. I agree with this. TLAD was just to test the waters. Now that they have an idea of what they are doing, they can go all out on this one.
Lancer1990
TLAD was cool.. TBOGT will be even better.. That's awesome i'd say
Germanviking86
Its actually not surprising that they did this. Tony Prince for one is rich, Johnny Klebitz on the other hand, is not. I believe that this time we should expect some over the top missions relating to Gay Tonys High life status.

I still think the story and the whole thematic experience of TLAD is worth it. Yeah, TLAD could be seen as a test for R*, to see how it can work out for them and how people find the content. Now that they know how popular the DLC can become, they can really go all-out.
blowdro420
they're both great. (i'm pretty positive BOGT will not suck.) i just replayed through TLAD, and it was pretty fun. but i'm sure both games will have they're perks. (backup/bikes/calling jim for weapons TLAD) parachutes, classy vehicles, clubs, new helos. (BOGT) even though i am biased for the glitz and glamour of BOGT. i guess it's the nostalgia of playing vice city as a teen.
ScratchCard
Be glad you have it.. I'm a PS3 user and love biker gangs, and I like the gritty alot more then the glitty

zeppelincheetah
It's sort of like comparing Vice City to San Andreas, TLAD being Vice City and TBOGT being San Andreas. Did I ever go back to playing Vice City after San Andreas came out? Hell no! But Vice City was still an excellent game and worth it for the story and asset missions. Mafioso86
I actually see what the OP is saying... then again none of us have actually played BOGT yet, so in reality we can't really say if it will be that much better than TLAD, though I have to admit it is looking that way. Not that I'm complaining because BOGT will be so great, more just saying that it would be a little sad if it outshines TLAD due to gameplay, because the whole gritty biker concept of TLAD was really cool, and definitely fun, but felt a little bit half baked. It's the feeling that with just a little more effort it could have been as mindblowing as BOGT is looking, that makes me a little sad.
SirPsychoSexy
I agree, TLAD wasn't really my thing with all of these bikers. Now clubbing and party seems more like my style! But seriously, let's all realize that all of us in this forum and plenty of more people are gonna buy any piece of sh*t that R* throws us. (Not meaning that R* has given us any sh*t so far) Grand Theft Auto is an established trademark almost like Coca Cola or McDonalds or something and no matter what they do, people will always buy anything with a title that includes "GTA". max1983
I thought the LATD was a great game and i really enjoyed it but i do feel they have saved the best for last with TBOGT and expect it too be bloody great
