Slamman
If you wind up new to both episodes, like me, getting them, perhaps at one time, on the discs... Would you be tempted to play this DLC story first? How do you think the disc version will implement both DLCs optionally?
Magic_Al
TBOGT is newer and should be more feature-packed and refined, so it depends if you feel more excited about playing it first, or would rather play TLAD first so you end on TBOGT. Storywise, I'd rather end on the story that has the happier ending and lets just say TLAD doesn't set a high bar there.
Slamman
No spoilers, but for me, personally, I'd enjoy the hands on in Ballad of Gay Tony more because the motorcycles are down the list of favorite vehicles. I think over all the story is less compelling, and I believe there will be some more refinement as we go along, on display here!
CookPassBabtridge
Slam, if I were you, Id just download TBOGT and save the $20 on TLAD. As Al says, TLAD is an anti-climax, probably now ten-fold by the looks of the new trailer.
JOSEPH X
you can switch between the episodes, you don`t have to do one and then the other. Damn, that just made me think about what gtanext.de said about mission replays. Maybe there`s no big reloads between the episodes on the disk. Off topic completely, I`m taking my computer in to have it raped of every bit of data, and then Windows reinstalled (viruses, boo, hoo). See y`all in 24. DrAnomalous
I never downloaded TLAD but when they come out on disc together I'll probably be switching in between the two might even replay Niko's story again. I love the stories in gta games. I don't think I ever get as much replay value with any other series.
SaintJimmy
I've never played TLaD (partly because right before it came out, my XBOX was taken by my brother who moves out). But, I'm getting it back as soon as EFLC comes out. I'm kinda glad that I haven't played TLaD because it will be a brand new playing experience just waiting for me. But, in saying that, I will definitely play and finish TLaD and then BoGT. Savin' the best for last.

Magic_Al
Slam, if I were you, Id just download TBOGT and save the $20 on TLAD. As Al says, TLAD is an anti-climax, probably now ten-fold by the looks of the new trailer. I'm not saying don't play it! I'm saying maybe you don't want to end on it. If do you end on it, so what, load your TBOGT save and go base jumping or work on odd jobs for 100%. I think the contrast between episodes is great, one might make you appreciate the other. CookPassBabtridge
Yeah I know Al, but TLAD is going to seem even less satisfying after this episode. It's shaping up to be better than IV itself! In my view, if Slamman isnt into the bikes, no point buying it really.
