Yeah so here's my problem...When i first run the game without patches or anything, i cant see anything, like everything is invisible and all i c is some buildings and stuff. Then when i do patch it to the latest patch i get the TEXP70 Error and yes, i have tried some of the stuff but didnt work.

Anyways, heres my specs

 

Intel duo 2.6 ghz processor

Geforce 9600 gt supercloaked 512mb

3gb of RAM

Windows Vista

No overclock device

 

 

and no its not the graphics settings because ive turned em down and nothing worked and my driver was already updated to the latest version

Are you using any no-dvd cracks?

Any mods installed?

Have you tried updating your video drivers? This could easily be a driver issue.

Delete all files from the Settings folder. More info here. Reinstall the game and apply the latest patch manually.

the best thing to do is to reinstall Windows (adwice install windows xp)..and after do not updade drivers(install the originall drivers)

 

run the game and see if it runs batter,if not,then updade drivers

Bullsh*t you want to help. You come in here saying "reinstall the operating system, cos it might be damaged drivers" first, damaged drivers, if it is that, which it isn't, is simply fixable by uninstalling the driver, downloading a fresh copy, and reinstalling it.

yeah....anyways thx for the help im reinstalling all my graphic drivers right now and i hope that helps along with the riva fix. btw street racer i know u were just trying to help so thx anyways but the idea of reinstalling my OS is a bit outragous

Catastrophic advices, do not follow these.

 

1) Reinstall the OS only when you did the other stuff

2) Vista is better for gaming on newer machines then XP

3) "do not update drivers" - are you insane?

Also, when changing drivers, be sure to sweep first. Look in the FAQ for the detailed procedure how to update drivers properly. Have you tried other game versions?
