I've booked 2 days off, the day it's released and the day afterwards, I have no need for an all nighter, I'll have plenty of time.

Please tell me you didn't book 2 days off for this??

Isn't that what I wrote?

You said the day its relased, could have been coincedental. You booked 2 days off for an expansion pack to a game??? bored.gif

That would be some coincidence. You keep asking me the same question, that I answered in my first post... sarcasm.gif

Not really a big coincidence.

It was a retorical question i just cant believe someone books work off for a expansion pack. *laughs*

Thats all it was. sigh.gif

Rhetorical or not, it was a question all the same. I had a few days annual leave left over, I don't want to lose them, this was an excuse to use them. In future, I shall consult you before booking any more days off, just in case. *Laughs*

GTAs don't come around that often...if I had the game I'd prefer to savour it: there's a certain magic to GTA's storylines that makes it disappointing when you complete a game.

if you had a perfectly cooked steak from the finest restaurant (that is if you like steaks), would you wolf it all down in 5 minutes or savor it's deliciousness? I pick the latter. I usually beat GTA stories in a week or more.

Possibly, I'm pretty sure that I have time off them anyway. However, I'll be trying to go through the game at a better rate this time. I completed TLAD in the space of a few hours, and although I went back and played it at a better rate later on, I would have preferred to do that first.

lol Whatever big boy.

What I wanna know is why 360 owners are somehow at fault for this DLC? Why are people getting angry at us? We just bought the system, we didn't make the deal.

They have no one else to take it out on. It's as simple as that.

... Moving on.

I won't be staying up all night to complete it, but I'll certainly give both episodes a good hammering as I'm getting the physical release when it's released. I'll be sure to give it the thorough arse-licking I gave IV when it came out.

I dunno as I've grown older (but still a big fan of my wideo games) I like to make my games last a while. Especially since alot of these next gen games are shorter. It sometimes sucks waiting in anticipation for months, then it's gone next morning after the release date.

Dude... I bought Arkham Asylum first day. It is amazing, but I beat it in 2 days. I am gonna play TBOGT probably pretty fast too, but oh well. It is so fun when you're doin it, just sucks afterwards sad.gif

I'm getting EFLC, and starting off with TLAD before moving on to TBOGT. I shall savour both experiences as much as possible, and shall do a mixture of missions, side activities and random chaotic sh*t rather than just power through the story as I find that's the best way to play these games. Once I've exhausted everything to do in TLAD, I'll play TBOGT and exhaust everything in that. I'll probably stick with that one afterwards though. I might power through on replays, but it's that first experience that stays with you.

Yeah I'm pretty close to beating the story in Arkham Asylum. That is a perfect example of a badass game that it felt like such a shame to rush through, but it is hard to drop the controller when popping thugs from the shadows is so fun.

Weaksauce response.

I love how this guy tried so hard to antagonize you over some dumb geek hierarchy thing and got completely shut down every time. Nice. Because, ya know, posting at a messageboard about a video game is okay, but using your off days to play said video game before they can expire is sooooo insanely unkewl, man. Let's all point at the big nerd and laugh. *Laughslolrofl*

What a waste of cyber space on this forum....further wasted by me...

I've taken time off for work for this. I have weekends off and the game comes out on a Thursday so I'll have 4 full days to complete the game, which should definitely be do-able considering the length of "TLaD".

I picked option 1 because it's the closest to my situation but in truth I'll have a full day of work behind me and it will already be like 1am locally by the time the game is available. Add to that the download time and I won't actually be pulling an "all nighter".

As someone who was at the midnight launch for IV and downloaded TLaD the moment it was available I'll be honest: I'll be able to stand to play for an hour, MAYBE two, then I'll go to sleep. Then I'll wake up and literally play until I have to sleep again. Repeat until finished.

I was gonna vote f*ck you xbox whores out of jealous anger at you assholes for not yet suffering the red ring of death like I just did recently.  But I'll have it fixed or replaced by then. cool.gif

I just hope Bill Gates gets his dick caught in a bear trap for sticking good graphics into such a piece-of-sh*t system, and expecting me not to steal like 12 of them from Gamestop.

Installing game's is the ultimate way to prevent your 360 from every dieing, No overheat, no moving parts. It should never break when you have games installed

I don't think that's entirely true. The problem is with the cpu not the dvd drive. I think I may have permanently fixed mine though.

Probably the GPU, the most common reason people get the RROD is because they accidentally disconnected their 360's power, the wire's are damaged, or because their GPU was fried when the console overheated.

Well this guys procedure helped me out maybe it can help some of you stuck with a brick without a warranty before TBOGT comes out.

That might help. Thank you.

Still, I encourage everyone here to go steal an Xbox 360, just to show Microsoft what we think of having to use their sh*tty product to play our games.

If you have a PS3 and are pissed off about the bullsh*t exclusivity agreement, jack a 360. If you have a Wii and are banging your head against the wall saying "Why did I get this?" jack a 360. If you have a 360, whether it red ringed or not, and if so, wether you fixed it or not, jack another 360.

But yeah. I'm hoping to get some drugs and alcohol. Maybe call over a friend. And go through the game in two sittings like I did with The Lost and Damned.

Until BOGT comes out, I plan to play all my Rockstar games in sequential order.

Lollercoaster

I'll buy EFLC and first play TLAD till I get tired of it. Then I will play TBoGT till I get tired of it. The whole process will probably take maybe 2-3 months, lol...I like to get the most out of my games.

I've played GTA IV for 210 hours and I'm still not halfway through the story. And I'm still not tired of it either smile.gif

That might help. Thank you.

Rage against the machine, you Abbie Hoffman of nerdery you.

Because most 360 users act like a dick about it that's why.

Well I guess I'm one of the few 360 owners who is f*cknig pissed off that PS3 owners don't get it.

I have a 360 and i agree with you.

I dont like exclusive content/games, whether i can get it or not. it seems pointless.
