xTRLx
Hey people, It's currently 6:17 in the morning in England. And I just had the worst nightmare I think I've ever had. It wasn't particularly scary, just absoloutely horrifying. I dreamed that I was standing in this car park. Where this man parks his motorcycle, then 3 guys come up to him and start to kick the crap out of him. 2 of them leave, but one guy keeps going. This is where it gets terrible, the guy goes back to his car, and grabs a pickaxe. He starts stabbing him in the face, ripping his stomach open, then pulling the rest of the remaining flesh out with his hands. The victim is just staring at him bleeding to death. I instantly woke up, my heart is beating like a bullet, and I feel awful. I can't sleep; so here I am. Don't get me wrong, I'm not crazy or anything, I barely dream, and if I do, they're good dreams. I don't have a clue what the hell that was about, I am absoloutely horrified. What nightmares have you guys had?
XAF226
If the nightmare wasn't real just laugh at the guy for the lulz. I don't have nightmares anymore but when I was younger I used to have kind of scary nightmares. I used to dream that I was sleeping in a large room in my bed but everything in the room gets louder. Then the rooms starts getting larger and it seemed like something would come from under my bed and get me. Then I woke up screaming.

You could hear the attacker breathe heavily, shout in rage etc. Honestly, it was so realistic. I used to have dreams like that when I was about 6-8, I used to dream spiders were crawling all around my carpets/under my bed etc. But then when I woke up, I could almost see them as I stared at the carpet. Having spiders as my phobia is bad enough, let alone dreaming about them.
XAF226
If it felt that real maybe it really did happen and you were injected with something to make you forget. I once had a nightmare that the world was taken over by zombies. My mother burst through my door while I was sleeping as a zombie. So I jumped out the window at two stories in my bare feet which start bleeding. I somehow reached my school in five seconds where I was all clean and in my uniform (with shoes) and I'm talking to two kids. Then I go down to lunch and right after I get my food, it gets taken away and I was forced to watch an African home video. After that it was the last day of school and the whole layout of school changed. I was walking home when I saw a naval base near my house get replaced with a park in twenty seconds. Then I suddenly appeared in my bed which was empty except for my bed. So I'm falling asleep and a ghost appears right on top of me who wanted to have sexual intercourse. I woke up in real life thinking what kind of dream was that.
Clem Fandango
Sounds like this was pretty bad, and is bothering you more than the average violent dream should. Were it me, I'd talk to a mental health professional.
xTRLx
lol!!! Are you serious? Man I always have zombie dreams, I don't class them as nightmares though, they're fun as hell! One time I woke up in the middle of the night (In my dream) and my brother called me, he told me the front door was open, (weird because how would he know when he doesn't even live with us) so I run downstairs, and close it. My mum then comes downstairs and tells me that it's better to go out at night to get to this hotel where it's completely safe because she thinks less zombies will be out at night. So we drive around for a little while until we get there. We get inside the hotel, and suddenly it transports me to 3 months later. A large group of zombies break into the hotel, and knock me down. I just lie there (like in call of duty - last stand perk) and my brother, as a zombie, runs up to me, but instead of eating me, he tells me that I should try to get the hell out of there. Then he runs off and starts chasing people, then I wake up xD. To Melchior, I feel alright now, it was just a little startling when I first woke up lol. XAF226
Yes, I really did have a dream/nightmare or whatever it is that was like that. I would like to be able to have a lucid dream one day.
sgt.slaughter
One horrendous nightmare that I once had placed me in a room where I was watching a show that my mind made up(Tales of Halloween Slaughter,it was called)where it would show kids getting ran over by cars and being tortured during Halloween night. There was a lot of gore and quite a lot of guts squishing out .I woke up from it when I stuck my finger in a broken electrical socket while I was asleep and was briefly electrocuted. It was terrible . The Unvirginiser
You walk to the bathroom.... And the floor is... Covered in... SNAKES I don't have a snake phobia, but didn't like that dream. Anyway, I had one a while back where a guy I met that day got choked out with a chain and his neck artery burst open and covered me in blood. Normally stuff like that didn't scare me, but the feeling of being a witness to a murder and me maybe being next frightened me.
Fnorg
A few months ago, after playing a trial of L4D, I go to sleep. Once asleep, I start dreaming. I can't remember much, other than that I'm hunted by zombies up to a roof of sorts. Looks like this: So, once I reach the other building, I spray the zombies until I wake up in cold sweat. And that is my worst nightmare. This is why I don't like scary games or movies. If L4D gets to me... Ugh.
xTRLx
Man, you hate zombie dreams, I love them. I had a L4D dream once. One time I was running around these block of flats, I get chased by loads of sprinting zombies whilst with a group of friends. At the top floor, theres an inpenetratable flat, similar to I Am Legend. Anyways, one time, me and a couple of the group look around outside, when a big ass tank charges up to us out of nowhere. We ran for our lives up the stairs, and he is just behind us. I break into a flat coz I get tired, then hide on the balcony. The tank literally swings round the building and dropkicks me right in the stomach. I fly off the building and get impaled by a pole. Whoever says if you die in your dream, you die in real life, isn't true.
baptiste
I enjoy my nightmares. That's because I have the ability to realize when I'm having a nightmare, and proceed to completely disregard the supposedly "scary" stuff and f*ck around until I wake up, most of the time I wake pretty fast when the nightmare realizes I am uninterested by whatever is going on. Psychologist tells me it's because I'm too rational.
Neehtils
I have some weird and funny nightmares like there was a Zombie Apocolypse going on and if the zombies touched grass they would die. But the scariest dream was I was trapped in this dirty room with a tiny bulb on the ceiling which is very dim and there is a mirror on one side instead of a wall. A huge mirror and there is my reflection. Then suddenly the walls start bleeding in a creepy way and my mirror image stands still and my mirror image has blood all over his clothes and looks kind of... dead... but is standing up. Then my image starts getting disorted and I turn into this kind of monster thing... it looks like me, but alot like a monster, a very scary one. Then the light starts getting dimmer and dimmer. Then the light goes out and I woke up. Another one was I was running across a field from what looks like a Witch from Left 4 Dead and I fall over and she grabs me and sets me on fire. And then I woke up.

shaboobala
I never have nightmares now and I rarely remember dreams, but they're always about having a good, sexy time. When I was a kid, they generally centered around me being chased and killed by vicious animals(usually black w/ red eyes, oooh). Lions, bears, raptors, mastiffs and wolves were the biggest repeat-offenders. I also had many other, much crazier, extravagant ones.
Cursed
I haven't had a nightmare for years, I enjoy most of my dreams infact. Don't you hate it when you wake up from a dream and won't be able to continue it. Last year I had a lucid dream and I managed to go back to sleep a couple of times and return to it. The last few nights I've had quite a few dreams that I've been able to remember when waking up, I can't really recall them right now but most of my dreams involve being at school or late for school. WTF! my body actually went numb in real life! i couldnt feel anything for about a whole minute! it was about 5/6 AM because the sun was rising outside... it was the scariest sh*t ive ever dreamed about
xTRLx
Damn Minnieman, that sounds scary as hell. You sure it wasn't a night-terror? They're like nightmares, but sometimes they have physical effects on your body, like you mentioned. Sometimes you might actually scream out loud, but still be asleep, and it be like practically impossible to wake you up.

Carnage1120
Dieing in space, you would only be alive for 15 seconds, but it would be the worst 15 seconds of your life, your blood will boil, the side that isn't facing the star would freeze instantly, No oxygen EDIT: I guess after doing a little searching I found this http://www.damninteresting.com/outer-space-exposure This would be a horribly way to die Edited September 2, 2009 by Carnage1120
Typhus
My brother murdered a prostitute. Shot her with a silenced pistol and left her in the back garden. I had to protect him and hide what he did. So I chopped the body into quarters and put them in black bags. I didn't like feeling so panicky. I knew I was doing something foolish but just did it anyway.

Sanjeem
This is my worst nightmare, it was a year ago and i remember it clearly. Bassicly i was at this factory, And for some reason my hands were tied together, and i was standing on a conveyor belt. A dark person shot me in the legs, and i fell down, i think i felt the pain somehow. Bassicly the conveyor started moving whilst i was on it tied up. This is the Terrible part Bassicly you probably have an Idea what happens next. Their is a machine to which the conveyor lead to, In the dream i was coming towards the end, but i hang on for dear life, as this Shredding blade machine was below me mincing rocks up. The wierd part is i didnt know why i was their, Bassicly the guy came along and started to slit my hands, and i fell in, Thats when i woke up. xTRLx
Damn Sanjeem, that sounds crazy. I'd hate to have my hands slit open. Ahh its making me cringe just thinking about it. I once had a dream, actually, it was only a couple of weeks ago. This guy had me tied up, and he was squeezing my balls extremely hard, and would just not let go. I swear I felt the pain in real life, it hurt so bad. Needless to say, the dream only lasted like 30 seconds.
