We've only heard him mentioned by Playboy X, as a real estate developer. So I got a couple of questions: Do you think that the guy with the turban is Yusef Amir? In the trailer we saw how (Luis?) blew up a crane. Maybe Luis really did a few missions for Playboy X before his death, and one of them was destroying a construction site just like Niko did. I think so, he is one of LC's power players, like Gay Tony. and Will we likely see Playboy X again? I think it was yesterday brought up the unique possibility of the idea that Yusuf Amir is actually the guy depicted as being caught with his pants down in front of the powerful Sheik from back home who presumably came to liberty city under a scenario similar to that of Bernie Craine or to a lesser extent Roman, i.e. wanting to be free of general narrow-mindedness/religious/sexual oppression, etc. I think this is more likely given that he is A) highly detailed, B) important enough to voice dialogue in the debut trailer and C) voiced by a well-known British/Iranian comedian Omid Djalili. Do you all remember that mission for PBX, "Deconstruction for Beginners"? Remember the construction site in which you had to kill all of those Mafia goons? This is a huge (and probably stupid) what if, but what if that is/was the site for Gay Tony's new club or some sh*t? In the trailer, he did say he was about to lose everything, so maybe he works with Yusef to get a new club. Also, keep in mind, it was in this mission that Yusef Amir was first mentioned. But I guess Afghanis wearing them in a turban is enough to confuse anyone. Btw, that wiki article had stuff I never heard of. Never knew the name I've been using all my life to describe them "Shmagh" is Turkish for just "Wrapped thing". I am also very interested to find out who of the two is Yusuf Amir - the pants-down guy, or the traditional-cloth one. It could be either one, and from past trailers we all know the perepheral voices - ie not of the main characters - could be from anyone in any cutscene. It doesn't at all necessitate a major character. Remember the "Please, no-more killing" one at the end of the second trailer? From GTA 4, I'm guessing he would probably be the traditional-wearing guy. Remember Playboy-X mistaking him for an African? Also, seeming retards like the pants-down guy only ever get extreme wealth in their hands in Saudi Arabia - not too sure about in the Emirates. Also, how f*cking short is that pants down guy? I mean I remember when the Phil Bell trailer came out and there were people that thought he sounded a bit like James Gandolfini (myself included), but it was a different guy. I also really doubt that he (diaper guy) is Yusuf Amir... there was another thread where someone explained that there was a Liberty Tree article about some guy that came over on the Platypus that was found dead in a diaper or something, and I don't remember the name he gave, but it wasn't Yusuf Amir. Anyways as to whether Amir will give Luis missions or not, I have a feeling he will because there was something floating about the internet last week... I think by one of the guys that played the demo in Vegas... that mentioned "Luis does a mission for a guy named 'Tamir.'" Now it seems pretty likely that he could have messed up the name from "Amir" to "Tamir," plus everything else in those reports from the Vegas thing have turned out true; but then again maybe the diaper character is named Tamir... guess we'll just have to wait and see. So... maybe he's trying to say he has a golden groin or something weird like that. Oh and something just came to my attention that possibly relates to Yusuf Amir or even the diaper guy. I assume most of you have seen the scans of from the Spanish OXM that show a car that is clearly based on a Rolls Royce Phantom. The car from the scan happens to look almost exactly like this one... Which just happens to be owned by an Iranian clothing designer who owns what is described as the most "expensive clothing store in the world." Now I know Iranian fashion designer and Dubaian real estate mogul aren't the same thing... but it is interesting that they're both filthy rich men from the middle east, and these are the only two bright yellow Phantoms I've ever seen; just thinking that this could be Amir's ride...
