All weapons?

Hello. Do you think that it is possible that if we have already downloaded the lost and damned, then when we download TBOGT, all the lost and damned new weapons, vehicles, interiors, and bikes will be available in TBOTG just like GTA IV stuff was in The Lost and Damned. I mean if the data is there on your harddrive then I think that it would be a waste to not use it in TBOTG. Just like the police computer was not used in The Lost and Damned.

 

I think that it would be awsome if all of the weapons and vehicles and features from original GTA IV and TLAD and the new TBOGT will all be in TBOGT instead of just the stuff from TBOGT.

It would be kind of cool, but with all those weapons, I find there would be too much clutter kinda, and how would you get the "lost" weapons without calling jim?

Good point but I am sure that R* should be able to find a way if they plan to do that I mean it shouldn't be that hard. there is tons of empty spaces in the Weapon stores. Or each of the weapon stores could sell different weapons and you could have another personal arms dealer.

 

But what about features. I really hope that you can use the police computer in this one and plant car bombs. I am going to guess that street races are probably in this time.

It would be kind of cool, but with all those weapons, I find there would be too much clutter kinda, and how would you get the "lost" weapons without calling jim?

By killing biker gang members and taking them off their corpses.

I hope so, seeing Johnny without his Hexer in Diamonds in the Rough would be strange, same can be said with the bikers chasing after you with only 2 bikes. Also, I want the sawn-off to stay in, that was the best weapon in almost any situation.

And It's only fair if TLAD had TBOGT weapons as well.

 

You got a better chance seeing it in EFLC for both games rather than just TBOGT.

In the past series the newer game would get almost all the toys from the previous games. If they include TLAD weapons in TBOGT but make them rare that's a good compromise. If Luis can only get TLAD weapons by killing bikers (and not 100% of the time) and if Luis has no place to buy TLAD ammo, he can't get much use out of TLAD weapons taking up his slots and it's not going to keep anybody who hasn't bought TLAD already from buying it.

 

I'm sure Johnny will appear on his Hexer, and I wouldn't be surprised if all TLAD's vehicles are in TBOGT because their value in adding variety to the streets is greater than worrying about people who didn't buy TLAD yet. It's like worrying that people who bought San Andreas before Vice City won't buy Vice City.

 

I don't think TLAD will change to add TBOGT stuff because that takes Rockstar's development time away from TBOGT. Same reason the original GTA IV wasn't updated with TLAD stuff.

Well, GTA IV did have the same stuff from the radio on TLAD after you bought it. Also, the Bati Custom from TLAD is in one of the screenshots where Luis has the golden UZI. So, there might be a possibility we may see them.

No it would make logical sense but it's not going to happen. R* doesn't seem to like giving people choices.

In one screenshot He's riding a custom motorbike so at least the vehicles should be in. whether or not it depends on if you bought TLAD or not is debaitable. I hope (though I strongly doubt) they make the features or at least some of them available in the origional IV. I know they didnt before but I can only hope. I love playing as niko far more than johnny and tho Luis looks cool I'm sure I'll still prefer Niko.

Changing weapons and vehicles and physics in a game that's already done could unbalance gameplay, introduce bugs, and require re-testing the whole game again. It's a can of worms. Rockstar can't justify NOT spending that time and manpower on making TBOGT the best it can be.

 

Updating the radio files in the original game is relatively trivial because it's just copying the new playlists from the episode and it doesn't interact with anything so there's no way the game will break from that change.

I imagine the TLAD stuff will be in TBOGT for things like cutscenes and whatnot, and they'll either make it avliable to the player regardless of whether they have TLAD, or simply not at all. Trying to make it avaliable based on whether someone also has TLAD would be incredibly complicated. Multiplayer would be an absolute nightmare.

That's because having 2 automatic shotgun's would be a stupid freaking idea.

They are basically reskinning the weapons
