Enjoii Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 The intention of this it to have one topic including a detailed analysis, that the community can pitch in, and provide other users with information. Click all images for higher-res versions. First up we have a scene inside Bahama Mama's, a club that we were unable to access in GTA IV. Due to this club being shown multiple times in the trailer, we can assume that it will now be open for players. A green car then speeds past the screen, with what seems to be a nitrous blast coming from the exhaust, which people believe to be a hint towards car customisation. The green car has not been identified yet, it has a very similar body to the Super GT, other than the rear. The next scene shows Luis hanging onto the side of a moving train. Currently, we can assume that this feature will only be available during certain missions. Another interesting part about this screen is that a carriage further back on the train actually has smoke coming out of the window. This could indicate that Luis was in that carriage and is making a desperate attempt at escaping, or something else. This next clip is possibly following on from the previous scene, where Luis is making his way along a train as the carriage behind him is burning. Here we can see Luis driving away/next to the train as it seems to be on the point of explosion. But this brings up the question, how did the car get there. Now we can see Luis driving (what looks like) a new car, with a female passenger. This brings up the question of who he's driving, and why. A couple of possibilities could include her being the daughter of somebody that you're working for, or possibly even a hint from R* about bringing back the old dating system (that was left out of TLAD). The next screenshot points towards a feature that was left out of the Lost and Damned; the ability to change clothes. Many players missed this feature but it looks like it's back. Throughout the trailer Luis can be seen wearing multiple outfits, including a new suit (seen below), a new outfit during the Fight Club scene, and his standard outfit. Although this next club is another hint towards the ability to change clothes, it also holds a pretty nice Easter Egg. Although never seen in GTA IV, Gay Tony owns a nightclub named Maisonette 9. In this screenshot below we can clearly see a poster advertising this club, which means that it will be another nightclub open to players. Along with this, on the poster it promotes Maisonette 9 clubs in Las Venturas and London, in reference to locations of previous games. The next screen is surrounded by a lot of speculation. It's certainly a car that's new to this episode, but the community is generally split in two over what car it is. Some believe that it's the Super GT, but modified through a new car customisation feature, especially because of the nitrous blast that can be seen in the second screenshot. Other believe that it's a completely new model of the Super GT, similar to the Sultan & Sultan RS. If you feel that you have something to say about it, let us know here. In the next screen we see Bulgarin dancing around with somebody(?) playing guitar, holding an AK. Although this doesn't confirmed much, it at least shows us that we will be seeing more of him in this episode. This next screen confirms a new weapons, the AA12 (Automatic Assault 12-Gauge) shotgun. This next shot is essentially just another action shot of the new attack helicopter. While searching through some of the Lost and Damned game files, there were remains of a Fight Club game mode found. A lot of speculation led people to believe that this Fight Club would be used in the next episode, especially with Luis' street fighting background. In this trailer, we got the first evidence that this may be correct, with a scene showing Luis in what seemed to be an underground fighting club, surrounded by other guys, suggesting that this was an organised fight. Another new vehicle, the Golf Cart is now confirmed! Due to posting restrictions, all images are now going to be text hyperlinks. The next shot shows what could be one of the new missions. A recent article released by USA Today detailed a mission similar to this, where Luis is sent to retrieve a carriage from a train, and the skylift it using a chopper. The second shot shows Luis hanging onto the back of the carriage while it's being flown away. #1, #2 Another action shot, this time showing a crane on a construction site being destroyed. Very likely to be a part of a mission. #1 A new weapon confirmation here, the P90 SMG is revealed. #1 One more action shot here, Luis jumping out of a helicopter with a parachute. The Outfit during the fightclub scene is actually his standard outfit without the Jacket. Also you said Bulgarin is holding an Ak... That's not an AK. I'm fairly sure that it's an AK, although it may be the SMG variant. It looks nothing like the new shotgun. The Outfit during the fightclub scene is actually his standard outfit without the Jacket. I keep my fingers crossed... but I don't count on it. I'm also thinking about buying an Xbox (pure for GTAIV+DLC and probably some other console titles/Guitar Hero)... but that won't be happening anytime soon (need a job for throughout the day... also need to do better this year. I'm not a weapons expert or anything, but I'm fairly sure that explosive rounds don't blow up in mid-air, they're designed to explode upon impact. We don't actually see where the round blows up but after the shot there is an audible explosion that appears to go off near the cops. Then there is a visible one. There's no real way of telling which one is the round going off but it looks to me like a projectile comes from the gun when he fires it. EDIT: I was looking on Wikipedia for info on the AA 12 and here's what it said The AA-12 uses many different types of cartridges such as 00 buck shot, #4 bird shot, 12-bore lead slugs, or less-than-lethal rubber stun batons. It can also fire flares or special FRAG-12 18.5mm fin-stablized [HE], HEAP, and sensor fused HEAB "air-burst" fragmentation shells that can detonate in mid-air.
