GTA 3 -> GTA SAN ANDREAS

This is almost definitely the best inclusion of the GTA 4 series so far, and i cant help but make comparisons between this and the different levels of the GTA 3 series.

 

GTA 3 + GTA 4 -  Created a whole new level of gameplay, and a whole new world to play in.

 

GTA Vice City + Lost and Damned - Was an alright update, but overall same game different people (although lost and damned was far more dissapointing)

 

GTA San Andreas + (MAYBE) GTA Ballad Of Gay Tony - ..... just EPIC. And Ballad of Gay tony looks like it will live up to the expectations.

I DO think GTA 3 is better than SanAn, but what are you talking about?

Is it that hard to comprehand? He means gameplay wise, how the series is brought up.

 

 

GTA III and IV is vanilla

 

VC and TLAD has a few more 'stuff'

 

SA and BOGT go somewhat all out

 

Only difference is they're DLC episodes.

Already been confirmed from Take Two GTA V is in the works so this is nothing new, get with the times people, TBOGT will be a epic chapter, but it will end the era of GTA IV.

"GTA V" is just a working title. When Vice City was in production it was named GTA IV too, but R* later re-named it and I'm sure the same happens here. It would be stupid for R* to create whole new universe and then throw it away after one game.

Yeah dude what I expect GTA V to be is a RAGE engine 360/ps3 ie 7th gen console era game but in a new city. Whether it's called GTA V is another matter, I highly doubt it, in my opinion I hope we get a big size Vice City like as big as GTA IV, but with the coolness of the Miami setting, and the high level of features than San Andreas offered. Thats my hopes

I've somewhere heard that the ambitions R* have for GTA "5" as it's working title right now is as big of a difference from IV as SA was from GTA 3. So... If so, that will be awesome. And yes, even here they put in alot of stuff. But not at all as much. You shouldn't expect all to much or you'll be disappointed again.

Rockstar Games' grand epic Grand Theft Auto IV writes its final chapter Oct. 29. And the action is as over-the-top as the title: The Ballad of Gay Tony.

That is still no guarantee that Rockstar will develop or make use of a new graphics engine for the next instalment. The games in the GTA series have always had a new number added at the end, whenever the graphics engine was upgraded, and I don't see why Rockstar would ditch the one they used for GTAIV just yet.

I like that thought, but I truly hope they go all out and give us some countryside to drive in. It would be awesome if they gave us all of south Florida to work with. Vice City, Tampa, The Everglades, The Keys. It would have to be done on a smaller scale, of course, but I would love to see it!
