Train "hijacking"

It's been detailed as a part of a mission that Luis does, so it will probably only be available then.

I think you can hijack that train only in one mission.

Maybe the mission will have an additional cutscene too.

I think it will make you fly in to a certain height over the train, then it turns to an action cutscene and it is automatically picked up and then you fly it to the drop zone or where ever...

Maybe you can get the helicopter later but it won't be able to lift anything. Probably you crash if you try to mate with the usually indestructible train.

I don't really see any benefit in hijacking a train in free mode, in fact it seems like more of a hassle. Otherwise the only use for it that I can think of is for the purpose of telling your friends "dude, I just hijacked a train."

I can't imagine how badly this would screw up the physics if it's not a cutscene.

It looks to me that Luis won't be doing any of the helicopter flying. Judging from what I've seen in the trailer, it looks as if Luis is overseeing the process of the theft as he's seen clutching to the back of the train carriage. Time will tell though.

Luis is clinging to the back of the carriage as it's lifting in the air, so evidently you don't lift it at all.

 

That being said, there's no reason why they can't let you jack a Skycrane and lift cars later on. Although after the tow truck...

Kidnapping someone who's in it?

Revenge on LTA for charging too much for travel?

Doing it randomly to make an awesome mission?
