OysterBarron Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 well the green car at the start also has the same exhaust effect if you notice so perhaps its just the way this new car backfires or flames while changing gear, lets not get our hopes up for car modification, as its one of my most favorite missing features and if i start thinking its in and its not i will be dissapointed again. so im saying its not until we get some official info or proof. Also, the chrome strip above where the license plate, lack of an emblem, and shape of the rear window are even more differences. The new car's rear window is not rectangular, the Super GT's is. Does it mean user vehicle customization? Probably not. And the same thing goes for the nitrous. Nitrous, may only be in one particular car, and not available for any others, even of the same model. That aside, this "OMG-that-car-is-a-modded-GT" is getting ridiculous. It looks similar (shape), but that's it. tommo120 Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 I slapped this together to help people compare While the two cars have very similar shape, I personally think that this car is not the subject of in game car modifications (Not saying that they definetly will not be any (Hoping there will )) but this car is clearly either a totally new car or a pre-set modified version of the Super GT. I can see Rockstar limiting customization to a few useless things, like the stupid side skirts in GTSA. And we can probably only have nitrous in the vehicles shown in the trailer... watch it happen. I have no more hopes to be honest. It was the last straw when we got a Tow Truck in TLAD, but we couldnt Tow sh*t with it. I want No2 in my Blista Compact Damnit.... tow truck with no towing..... that like giving a paraplegic a pair of cleets.. They look nothing alike. And I am loving the fact that the regular version of the Buffalo is in. It was my dream car for GTA IV, and I am glad it's finally in, by way of BOGT. No car manufacturer would offer trim levels THAT different, because they would differ on the body shell level. very few people could afford to have work like that done, and if they did, it would surely only be a show car. If that is a modified super gt then it makes no sense whatsoever. If it happens to be a replacement model however, that would make sense. I don't think we should get our hopes up about car customization. I realize now that the yellow car is just a completely new car. (f*cking awesome one at that!) This isn't midnight club. The only reasonable thing to assume is it could be a pre set updated Super gt.
