It's not like I'm not open minded and haven't considered the other argument, however the addition of T.V and ingame internet keeps coming to mind, nevermind the marketing strategies. If this brings in money and help the businesses, then so be it. But don't think they are giving in to the masses only for you, they are doing it for you, however most of the reason is for money. Quite frankly you can either beleive R* didn't hold out on content and simply didn't have time to put in parachutes and such. R* lied and wanted to chrange people for things like parachutes and such. To make things worse thiers no edivence for either side to prove their point per say because in the end it all boils down to how long you think it took R* to really finish GTA 4 and that is impossible to ever find out. That said this topic has become useless really and the whole arguement will go nowhere. The fact they had to make the very expensive decision, after they'd already started the marketing campaign for a fall 2007 release, to delay the game six months, is plenty of evidence they didn't have enough time for more features. It's obvious logic. A delay is what you do when you don't have enough time. It should also be obvious that R* was working on IV pretty much the whole time after San Andreas was done. Did Rockstar North make any other games between SA and IV? If not, they were working on IV. It's not like they went on vacation for two years. The point of OP that R* finally gave in is true.
