Black-hawk
So what's up dudes. Anyway, I'm going on a double degree program for two years, and the university where I'll be getting my honours degree is called Napier University in the wonderful city of Edinburgh, Scotland. I'm looking for a place to stay, and have already managed to track down some houses/apartments, however are there any tips you kilt-wearing manly men I jest could give? Generally, what areas should be avoided, what should I take into account when looking around? Any other useful tips? Also, I'm going to be staying at a hostel for a couple of nights, which is located near a certain Haymarket Station, any ideas what buses go there? From the airport obviously. Google maps is saying that they don't have any associates there. Perhaps some of you are also studying there, so any tips for a new student from overseas would be greatly appreciated. 3minty3
Stick to somehwere near the city centre. Got lots of bus routes near by that can head to napier. Avoid places like pilton, muirhouse or anywhere that is made up of council flats. I cant give to much advice as I did not study there but good luck. Reconite
Pro tip - Avoid scotland all together. I don't see why. Inverness up north is like Edinburgh with 1/3 of the chavs. xD (It's safer lol) <3 Inverness
