He looks younger than I remember him looking in IV, and his voice sounds different as well, a little bit Latino sounding actually. There is authentic Gibson Flying V as well as a classic Dean ML, which most enthusiests know is Dimebag Darrel's axe of choice. In SA, there was Michael Schenker's famous Flying V, yet we never got to play them. I think the band, even in Vice City, they had some modeled guitars in the cutscene, a BC Rich Warlock! I doubt it's him, I figured, just new characters, not main ones... I looked at with stop and play stepping, there is two scenes, and it could be in the club or just a back room elsewhere, with the comments on Money Doesn't Dance, it's further in the trailer then the first scene and he has a mustache, which I really don't recall from the main game! Like Catalina, Sonny, Lance, Smoke, Ryder, Vinnie, Vincenzo, Sergeant Martinez, the Mendez brothers, Dimitri, Uncle Kenny, Billy Grey... What if instead of betrayal, or putting a round in Bulgarin's dome, Bulgarin, Tony and Luis call a truce and make friends? That would blow my damn mind. i like coffee enemas Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 That doesn't sound like a half bad idea. How awesome would it be to have Bulgarin as a friend or something?! Anyway, I was a little disappointed when I first saw this scene. I was like"what he heck?". Bulgarin is the ONE character I've been absolutely itching to see again, mainly because he was completely bad ass and ruthless in IV and I just hope to God that they don't take him down some aging rocker route. We know he'll fall out with Luis and Tony at some point, but hell, I don't wanna see one of my favourite characters turned into the comedic relief before this happens. The guy who says "Welcome to the party" doesn't sound like Bulgarin all that much either, but looking at the video in HD it appears the lips do match the audio unlike what I original thought. But there's too much we are not aware of in quick scenes, where the audio is harder to place then before. I notice I missed sight of the Gibson Les Paul on the wall, and we just lost Les too... R.I.P. I'm pretty sure that scene is the cutscene before the Museum Mission. Think about it.. Bulgarin is giving Luis an AK - The Same weapon that he uses in Museum Piece/Collector's Item. I'd say it goes like this: Luis goes back to his house to find Bulgarin there with a Guy Playing the Guitar. Bulgarin: "Welcome to the Party" Luis then says something Bulgarin: "You like to Dance huh?" "Well now The Money Does The Dance, The Money Does The Dance My Friend" "Now take This (AK) and go get me my f*cking Diamonds" Luis then Drives to the Libertonian climbs upto the window and... I don't get it Niko tried to rob the thieves: He stole the diamonds at some point, I believe. Niko tried to rob Bulgarin: Back in Europe.. one of his ships sunk and he needed someone to blame: Niko.
