aJackson
LOL you don't need a GTX295 for anything... no game needs it right now, so you wasted your money!! here's video of gtx 285 running game at maxxed out settings easily.. so ya, your either stupidly rich or richly stupid if you bought a gtx 295 but cant work out how to max gta out send it to me
Chevyboy
OP, I would strongly encourage you to watercool your PC, that card is a beast and requires massive cooling. 1. Cut a 1" hole in the top of your computer case. 2. Find a garden hose, connect hose to water supply usually located on the outside of your house. 3. Insert the other end of the hose into the 1" hole in your computer case mentioned in step 1. 4. Turn on the tap and enjoy the outstanding benefits of water cooling! *Just in case you are actually that dense, and I suspect you are after your original post, DO NOT attempt the above*

LOL you don't need a GTX295 for anything... no game needs it right now, so you wasted your money!! Seems a lot of people are having trouble with their 295's right now in many games. Am yet to encounter any yet with my 285's. But as for games not needing a 295 right now try playing a game like ARMA 2 with full anti aliasing, anisotropic filtering high detail settings and a 1920x1200 resolution and then you can see the need for such a card. syrdax
Yesterday I upgraded my GPU from 9800GT to GTX275. When started the game, it asked for serial number ( ) and then, I didn't change anything from settings, just loaded the game, went out (37FPS woot!), drove around Star Junction, started to rain (34FPS re-woot!)... went to check settings and were all about maxed out by the game automatically, I didn't change anything. So I guess that the game recognizes your hardware and uses the optimum settings for that hardware.

RYO_91
what a bunch of crap responses!!!, so how much vram do you have? maybe you cant max everything cause of the vram, i suppose that your card has 1792 ram, but if you are playing at a high resolution like 1920 x 1080 you cant max everything so the awnser is very simple, make a commadline.txt in the gta directory and add this lines: -nomemrestrict and -norestrictions, now you will be able to max out all your graphic options
