jippee Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Yeah So this is what happened, i started gta 4 in safe mode (option in start menu) cos my game wasnt working to well after i updated GFWL in game (Yes i only then realised that there is an issue doing this in game). ok it worked fine after that but now i re-installed it becuse the graphics had this blurry effect when you drive fast, turn the cam fast etc. so... ...I want to change the up key to middle mouse btn cos its way easier but now i cannot - i can change all other keys fine!! It shows there that its changed to the MMB but actually doesnt work in-game. blood_hound Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 uhh actually the one you were telling the blurry thing when moving and driving is actually a DEFINITION OPTION if it is turned off it reduces texture sharpness in game, thus making almost everything near you, blurry , and if it is turned on it sharpens everything, VICE VERSA but you don't get motion blur when moving the cam to fast or driving also, the button thingy, i also have this problem IDK why my middle button doesn't work in some applications but i think you can change it then play the game, SAVE the game and it will probably save have you tried that? It startted after i played multiplayer.. What i do to take it off it when it comes to the screen saying start - guide-settings.....i click settings then i just click the graphics tab and go out and start it. it takes the blurry stuff off. ive never seen the option b4. oh and yeah ive tried to save it but nothing?? ive changed the helicopter fire thing to Numpad 0 which works fine from the left mouse btn. blood_hound Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 jipee, have you tried what girishb said? also after you've done what he said, the blurry thing is a DEFINITION (ON/OFF) in game you can press P to turn it immediately on or off without pressing the escape button or going to the options, make sure you have patched to the latest so that you can see it in the options Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
