Feral Slug Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 you heard that radio announcement (vanilla only, not TLAD) where the news people talk about the war vet who found the diamonds? it said he was going to vice city. if i had that kind of money and needed to go a thousand miles, i'd take a yacht, too. you see where i'm going with this? the guy that got to play the mission says that someone on the boat tells you to destroy it. maybe someone you work with/for has already hijacked it and got the diamonds out, but he wants you to destroy it simply so the people who are still looking for the diamonds on it will never know they're already off, and will stop looking once and for all. your thoughts? Why would someone who just found diamonds spend like two weeks in the ocean just to get to another city? If had that kind of money, I would freakin' high tail it to Vice City. In vanilla there's the mission where Niko and Packie have a guy carrying the diamonds cornered. The guy throws the diamonds onto a dump truck. Its possible that the guy driving the truck was a war vet and thus acquired the diamonds. That's possible. The guy never said exactly who the yacht's owner is, he just said the "owner of the yacht." Therefore for all we know it could even be Tony's yacht. dabaannz Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 I think you have to use the yacht to escape the bank in "Three leaf clover", then you get picked up in the mini helicopter and have to parachute down to "Musuem Piece" , then escape and rush over to the train and walk along the top until you get to the sewage works for " Diamonds are a girls best friend"... drive off into the sunset in a tampa, role credits. But i'd think it'd be GT 'cus he says he wants to go set up something in Vice City (Well, i think) Think about it, he's Had his Club took down to Drugs, the FIB/NOOSE/LCPD want him. Like the mission where you have to kill 2 of your friends. You can kill Playboy X and get his penthouse suite and the other guy provides you back up, or you can just kill the other guy for money. Some kind of mission that gives you the option of getting the diamonds and destroying the boat, or or leaving the owner of the boat with the diamonds but you get to keep his yacht. I dont know lol.. I just want that boat.. I hope were able to keep it somehow.. Would suck to destroy something as nice as that, without having the opprotunity to keep it.
