Basically when I was 10 me and some friends went to laserquest (paintball for kids without the paintballs) and I needed to have a nickname that was up to 5 letters long. I could have used my name but that was boring so I thought of minty because it was meant to sound like minted as in full of money (turned out to sound nothing like rich only that I liked the flavour mint).
