Girish Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 Do you see any scratches on the disc? If yes, try cleaning the disc. If it doesn't help, then chances are that the disc is beyond repair. To confirm this, try the disc on some other PC and see if it works. If it doesn't, you'll know that the disc is at fault. If it's a recently purchased disc, I think you can get a replacement. Girish Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 Well, it's impossible to tell how damaging the scratch is. I suggest you try the disc on some other PC. If it doesn't work there either, then it's damaged for good. If you can get a replacement, try that. If not, then try cleaning the disc and see if it works. If still no luck, then get a new disc.
