Nope, you don't. You can play EFLC without owning a copy of IV.

You'll need it for the original story line, however.

I will buy both episodes on the DVD ROM, and I think, based off opinion here, it will clearly be favored over downloading, because even on Wifi, downloading on a console is slower then a laptop or desktop! Far as I've seen

definitely slower on a console. i just turn it off when downloading, it seems to go faster for me. i mean it only took me like an hour anyway. (TLAD)

i'm not sure whether to get the disc or just download it. i'll probably just trade in some old games to gamestop and get it that way.

"Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City" - Just cause my XBOX360 is not online. I dont have the wireless dongle and xbox is too far away from router. I know I can get ethernet cord cut to length but I don't want that mess running through my house at this time.

why don't you run it under the carpet? that what i do, even though my modem is less than 5 feet away. (i hate cords)

unless you have wood floors, then that wouldn't make much sense.

 

@ libs, they might bundle it together on XBL sometime, but i wouldn't count on it.

Thats how I had it when we had carpet but we had beautiful hardwood floors underneith the carpet and since we are in the decision process of selling we thought we would show them off. Now I have to deal with no connection for the xbox360. I also would like having the physical disks and if I am not mistaken I think they can be installed to the HDD so the disk is not needed afterwards.

They won't release them all on a single disc because it all wouldn't fit on a DVD. Maybe they'll do a double pack though.

Yer doubtful? Compression methods my friend. I see it happening. When III came out you would never have thought they could fit something as huge as San Andreas on a single CD. This isn't really much different.

They're not gonna compress it that much and lower the quality. GTA IV is over 6gb and the episodes are 4gb combined. 360 DVD can hold like 7 or 8.

Yeah, i am going to get it on Xbox LIVE for 1600 Microsoft points, as i already have TLAD, and it's only $20.

I would rather buy them as they release, play one then get the next one when it releases instead of paying practically $40 for both of them when i might not like TLAD's Multiplayer.

 

No offense to anyone who enjoys TLAD's Multiplayer.
