darthYENIK
Anyone been watching this year? The California team is kicking ass. They've got a 6 foot 13 year old pitcher that throws 78 mph fastballs, and hits 350 foot homers. He looks like he's 17 years old. Anyway, I can see them easily taking it all. They're playing Texas right now, and in the first inning, they've got two homers and 5 RBIs. EDIT: Make it two homers, a GRAND SLAM, and 9 RBIs in one inning. Jay
They've got a 6 foot 13 year old pitcher that throws 78 mph fastballs, and hits 350 foot homers. He'll probably get complacent because he has developed so early in life. He'll get used to dominating those around him, and get fast-tracked to professional baseball. He'll skip out on education and other things, and once he realises that talent isn't enough to succeed later on in his career he'll be too entrenched in a mindset of effortless dominance that he'll fail miserably. Or not, wtvr.
darthYENIK
Probably. It's sad to peak at 13. But they won. Was a weird game for both teams. One was a good defensively sound team, and one was a home run hitter. The defensively sound team gave up like 5 errors, and the home run hitters didn't get a home run. I laughed at Joe Biden getting in the picture with the championship banner. This team clawed it's way to the top to get to hold that banner, and what did Joe do, he decided to spend the afternoon at the ball park. It was also funny to see the secret service agents trying to blend in. Edited August 31, 2009 by darthYENIK
ass reamer
It seemed there were a lot of snotty little bastards in this year's LLWS. I can't remember watching in past years and seeing so many kids yelling at their own teammates or pitchers throwing their arms up in disgust because someone made an error. That Kiko Garcia kid from California seems like a cocky sh*t. I guess since I played baseball my whole life I notice all the douchebag-y nuances of young players. Regardless, it was fun to watch. Joe Biden hanging around for the picture when it was clear no one was interested in him being there was pretty funny.
