TBOGT Amusement Park

Well we all know the amusement park in Hove beach is big and would have good things to offer and be fun (if it was usable or open in other words) , so ive been thinking that maybe in this DLC it might be open and usable because its based on glamourous life in Liberty City and will have many new features and improoved stuff, thats my opinion , you post yours and vote yes or no.

Hm, I thought about this too and I would love to have the amusement park open, but I don't think its going to happen. Cause we all know (or should know) that the Ballad of Gay Tony runs along the same timeline as TLAD and IV. So the park was closed in Nikos story, the park was closed in Johnnys story and I'm pretty sure it will be the same with Luis story.

I don't think it will be open. Luis' storyline takes place during the same time as Niko's and Johnny's, and in the previous episodes it was not open.

It wont be open cause GTA IV and TLAD takes place in Autunm .. if you wanna go and play in the park just get CTW

Yeah unfortunately it would be inconsistent, because of the season.

 

It would be a lot of fun though. I think it would be fairly easy for them to make a miniature golf game, a cool roller coaster ride (just use the same thing that allows you to see the trains run while you're on them) and of course midway games would very easy to do.

 

I don't know why they had to base the game in the fall. If it was in the summer, we'd have that park. If it was in the winter we'd have snow.

 

But I think snow is hard for them to do. You would probably have to let it snow, but never stick. If it sticks, then you'd have to have it melt in a realistic way.

 

or I don't know they could just say it's the dead of winter and always have snow on the ground. I think snow can stick around for quite awhile in NYC during the dead of winter.

I assume they will since Niko, Johnny and Luis meet each other by coincidence a several times in the game.

You don't need any confirmation. You see Luis in IV and TLAD so many times, it's pretty evident that his story is taking place at the same time as the other two.

The amusement parks are based on coney island and coney island in real life is close so forget about it being open cause its not possible.

It's closed for the season, according to some of the banners in the game. Michelle/Karen mentioned during that First Date mission that they might try to turn it into a Las Venturas themed Amusement park.

It even says in the GTA manual, that what'd be more fun than riding on an 100 year old rollercoaster made of wood? Of course it isn't going to work. It's more there as pretty sight, only, not so pretty. And even if it is gonna be usable, which it wont, why would a pretty rich thug wanna go on a f.ucking rollercoaster for?

I doubt whether Rockstar will want to pick berries along the way. So no, the park is out of the question, not because of limited capabilities or time, but because Rockstar is acting like a bunch of orcs in front of Minas Tirith screaming "Grond! Grond!" wanting to ram this game through the gate as fast as possible.

Well they are making quality games. Rather have a good game than rushed out piece of crap like Sonic 06

so they've made all the stuff already

it just need to be added to the game

It would have been nice if you could at least ride your motorcycle on the rollercoaster. I can't have been the only one to try that. Although, I got some nice air on the skate ramps with a hellfire, ended up landing on the Broker bridge.
