Just Business was SOOOOOO easy!!!! Did you play it with your eyes closed, SanAndreasManiac??

Hardest mission in Vice was Publicity Tour. I'm not so good driver and crash a lot, especially when I drive fast.

Algonquin Assassin

I can't think one for each game, but overall I would say the Zero missions in SA.

I've owned SA since it came out, and I've never beaten them. Thank f**k they were optional. If they were mandatory I think I would need anger management theropy.

Little William

GTA III: The last mission. Insanely hard! Sometimes I have to cheat to complete it.

GTA VC: DNF

GTA SA: also DNF

GTA LCS: The mission where I have to defend Sal's casino. Cannot destroy the cars in time.

GTA VCS: "Farewell to Arms" The enemy cars move too fast to aim and it doesn't help with the chopper also moving.

GTA IV: "The Revenger's Tragedy". At first play, I couldn't control the chopper properly and kept crashing. Need to fly the helicopter few more times before getting the hang of it.

GTA TLAD: DNP.

SA: The first two Zero missions, Cop Wheels

VC: Demolitions Man (I played VC on PC and the forward and ascend buttons are the same, so the chopper only rises, doesn't move forward.)

III: Sayonara Salvatore. Could only pass i by blocking off the mansion with a fair load of cars and grenading/uzi-ing/AK-47-ing the crap out of the convoy. Oh yeah, and it took me a grand total of 34 tries.

LCS: False Idols. Once, I was up to the last target, the helicopter and I had one rocket left and fired it. It skimmed the side of a light post and blew up. "F*CK!" I yelled.

Why do so many people have problems with the Zero missions? They were easy as hell and I beat every one of them in the first try.

VC: The mission where you have that bomb in your car that goes off when you slow down, forgot what it was called

SA: Stowaway, took me like 100 trys to get on that damn cargo plane

IV: Out of Comission

IV - Three Leaf Clover. I'm surpised no-one's mentioned this as a candidate for hardest mission. I find it hard because of your partners in crime. I find they keep getting in the way and they force the pace by running off to the next bit while I'm still trying to eliminate enemies so we don't all get shot from behind.

A lot of people cite Snow Storm as difficult. But that's one I never have a problem with. Getting in is easy because you snipe as many as possible from a distance leaving only a handful which are easy to get using the cover system. Getting out is easier if you don't try to fight your way back out the front door. Instead find the big reel on the floor of the big room in the south east corner. Use that to jump onto one of the overhead girders and jump out one of the upper floor windows. Also I don't use the boat to escape; instead using a car I left parked on the west side of the building.

Out of Commission can be tricky. But you haven't got other characters forcing the pace and getting in the way. The jump isn't too bad as the game allows a lot of leeway to allow you to get it right.

SA - End Of The Line. It's just so long. It's an epic mission, but there's just so much to get right. And if you fail when you're close to the end, there's just so much to replay. Fight your way in, fight your way out. Then the car chase - woe betide if you don't keep up enough to be in the right place to catch Sweet.

Flesh-n-Bone

III: Kingdom Come, no doubt. First, you need a long range weapon, two, these guys are scary as f*ck and three, while you're busy shooting at a target coming in front of you, one of those bastards run to you from the back and blow themselves up and you lose 50% of your health with everybody else alive running onto you and blowing up, it takes less than 5 seconds to see your health reaching zero. Plus while you continuously kill them, you get 3 star wanted levels and a helicopter above appears which might annoy you if you stand still.

VC: Demolition Man, not hard now but managing to do it without blowing up your mini heli is hard.

SA: Air Raid or Supply Lines, PS2 only, on PC both are easy and for a mission hard on all platforms... I'd say Freefall, you must be lucky to manage going fast behind the plane without failing because the plane has reached LV. Easy for me now though!

LCS: The whole game was pretty easy but the mission name is escaping me. You have to save Salvatore as he's trapped in Fort Staunton, and you'll lose health and armor pretty quick with the Forellis and their Uzis.

VCS: High Wire, no questions asked. It had me trying for two days 40 times with no luck. Then I managed to beat it and since then the mission just like any other in the GTA series is easy for me...

IV: 3 Leaf Clover, see above.

III: The one where you have to kill Savatore Leone I kept trying to Snipe the dude but his 'effin Body Guards kept owning me.

VC: Suprised no one said The Driver. God i hated that mission! The Cuban Boat one! Den he said i have big Cojones inlove.gif

SA: Didn't own but i'd say that (2nd to last?) mission where you have to take back all your Territory.

LCS: Didn't own.

VCS: Didn't own.

IV: The one where you kill Dimitri on the boat!

Long Haired Freaky Guy

GTA3: The mission where you have to kill Kenji was rather annoying, but it just took a few attempts and a few different methods to get it complete.

For the mission where you kill Salvatore, I just find a sniper rifle and kill him as he walks towards his car. Easiest method is to park a car near the entrance to the club so that he has to walk around it to get to the car, giving you more time to kill him.

Espresso-2-Go! is annoying mission aswell.

VC:- Not really impossibly hard, but The Driver was a very annoying mission that took me quite a few attempts to complete.

SA:- End Of The Line. As someone else stated, it's so long that if you fail near the end, it's alot of work to get there again. The Zero missions do my f*cking head, and am trying to avoid them for as long as possible.

LCS:- The No Son Of Mine mission was frustrating at first, until I thought about grabbing a car and running to a safe place, then killing them all from there.

sh!t, sorry, I've gone an' bumped a week-old thread.

Hardest mission, aye?

GTA II - I've yet to complete it, but there's no single mission that's particularly hard, I just suck at driving when I'm not viewing from the driver's perspective (or pretty close to it)

GTA III - Sure Kingdom Come is a pain in the ass when the cops come after you, but not the hardest. No, sir. And killing he-who-apparently-shall-not-be-named? Really, iamanevilbastard, you let him get away before popping him with the sniper rifle? I mean, I see the FUN in it killing the entourage as well, but not hard to me. Pop him and run. Done. And if the entourage pwns you, snipe from atop the building, and just walk backwards a step or two and they can't get you. (Am I misremembering?)

I do agree, though, that espresso-2-go is a pain, especially when you don't have a 400 tonne car so as to blow all other cars the hell outa your way. lol.gif Yeah, that wasn't easy. But, I reckon the worst was the finale, but ... not really all that bad. No, seriously, it wasn't that hard, that I recall.

GTA VICE CITY - I'm with Flesh-n-Bone on this one: Demolition man took me F . O . R . E . V . E . R to master!!! But, the Haitian RC plane missions, I still haven't mastered.

GTA SAN ANDREAS - Undeniably Freefall and Wrong side of the Tracks. I still have to cheat (to position my plane) to pull off Freefall. And WSotT, I can do quickly and easily now, BUT I DO NOT do it the way y'all do, cuz I have never been able to. Instead -- and one day I'll post a video of me doing this on YouTube -- I abandon Smoke and actually jump onto the top of the train and shoot them from there before the walk-over bridge kicks me off. Takes some practise, but it's quicker, and do-able.

Controlling Zero's bl00dy RC plane to kill off the delivery vans was annoyingly hard, but when you abandoned trying to strafe the vans/bikes into submission and just landed in front of them and shot, it became much more manageable.

GTA LCS - Anything. No, seriously, I am in AWE of you console players, 'cuz I simply cannot play this with that stupid PS2 controller. I so awfully suck. When they invent a PS2-controller-to-mouse-n-keyboard adapter, I'm in. Until then, ALL the missions are too hard for me. (I think it was about the fifth one when you have to rescue the guys from the gas station that I stopped at.)

Disclaimer: I have been playing computer games on a keyboard since 1981, so, I am kinda used to WASD by now. tounge2.gif No, seriously. 28 years. Starting with an Apple ][.

GTA VCS - Ditto. Haven't even tried playing VCS, yet. I own a legit copy tho'. Ripped off, huh?

GTA IV - Only two I ever had trouble with was reacquiring Elizabeta's coke (my computer is too slow to handle the number of times I have to press "Q") and Out of Commission took me a few goes to figure out what I was meant to do, and then getting that Bike thing fast enough.

GTA 4 TLAD - Refer LCS. I could never own an Xbox for that reason.

Any mission with RC and stunt planes.

From Vice City, I remember missions like 'Demolition Man' and 'Dildo Dodo' were f*cking hard. Since I didn't have internet access back then, I remember calling my friend over and asking him to finish it for me.

From San Andreas, all of Zero's missions except 'Air Raid', then 'Learning to Fly', 'N.O.E.' and 'Freefall'. Some of the LV air races were a pain in the ass too.

GTA IV is the only GTA game that I have managed so far without any external help. Clearly, the easiest of them all!

GTA III - Espresso-2-Go. Just ridiculous.

GTA: VC - Probably The Driver, although it isn't as hard as it's made out to be (and Hilary is so easy to subdue). Dirty Lickin's is pretty damn tricky though.

GTA: SA - Wrong Side of the Tracks, because Big Smoke is stupid and blind even if you are way ahead of the train. You've Had Your Chips is probably the hardest, as the enemies are strong and accurate, and tend to pop out of nowhere.

GTA: LCS - Tie between Search and Rescue and The Whole 9 Yardies. They're quite similar anyway. The RC missions are a complete bitch.

GTA: VCS - Light My Pyre for sure. Probably one of the hardest in the entire series simply because Lance is so damn stupid. Otherwise, Boomshine Blowout and Jive Drive gave me the most trouble.

GTA IV - Smackdown, because of those bloody Alderney cops, and Tresspass as there are a lot of blind spots where the enemies can quickly waste you.
